They don't have fantastic financial so I'm not sure about that. And only one "elite" player who didn't leave Leicester is +30 yrs old striker with no guaranteed spot at 1st squad at any top6 clubs.
Our finances are absolutely fine, we have no need to sell at all, please don't confuse us with a club like Burnley who are happy to sell and take the profits.

We've only sold if a player kept angling for a move, even then it takes them more than a year to get out, because we'll sell when we are ready and when the offer is obscene enough.

We have already said nobody is going in January, the Maguire transfer has also set precedent. Ricardo is twice the player he was I'm afraid, so it's going to take £60m+ to get him bare minimum.

Should be no problem signing this guy and i look forward to welcoming him to the lane. A payrise, bigger football club, better history, best stadium in the world and away from the hole that is Leicester. It's a no brainer for him. Leicester will be back to mid table next year when they have to deal with 2 games per week.

I got the impression that Porto were bumping the price all the time when we were interested and Levy walked away as a result. Seems like the deal with Leicester was much easier. By contrast, PSG wanted Aurier out and we were desperate for a RB.

I think but dont quote me that there was a release clause of around 18m. Bargain at that price.
