Ok...

time to discuss who will get the drop. seriously, nothing much to look forward to but survival Sunday.

Norwich... I think they are dead and buried, thou I would love if they could just west ham this weekend. That will make things slightly more interesting.

Bournemouth.. I think they got the toughest run-in.

Villa... They do need a little bit of luck, but I think they might actually have a chance against west ham on the final day.

Watford... they need to beat west ham, if not then it could be down to them or Villa on the final day

West Ham... hate their run-in, 3 out of 4 games with the bottom 5 teams? Their fate is in their own hands but gosh I wish they muck this up. It will be epic!

I'd be very surprised if Villa or Bournemouth get out of this, but Bournemouth are due a visit from Dr. Tottenham tonight so my opinion might change after the game.

As much as I want West Ham to go down, there are three worse teams than them and I agree with your three to go down.
Norwich are gone- but they'll be back
B'mouth- I want them to get out of it but tonight I think we will beat them and then they will drop like a stone
Villa- the last game of the season could be interesting but they have relied on Grealish too much and I think they will go down

I think West Ham will probably just about survive, but their games against Watford and Villa are far from ideal.

At this point in the season you want to be playing mid table sides, who are on the beach already. Not high pressure relegation ties.

Bournemouth need to sack Howe if they want to stay up. They should have done it a couple of games ago and got redknapp in to the end of the season.

If they don’t beat us today I think they are down. They could easily win against us though. You just don’t know what you’re going to get with us at the moment.

Howe has far too much goodwill at Bournemouth to ever be sacked. Either he walks or he tries to get them straight back up, the choice will be entirely his.

Norwich will be relegated if they lose to west Ham this weekend so they should be safe for a few more days :woot:

It feels like it's done now. I can't see Bournemouth and Villa catching up.

oh F this...

it's looking to be the WORST ending to the league in a very long time.

how fun is survival Sunday or championship Sunday? i really hope there is something exciting to see, the league is done for us, and it seems to be done for most of the teams.

To be fair it was always going to be since the restart and games lacking real atmosphere. Also, from a Spurs fan point of view this season was done a long time ago. Sad, but hoping we can actually do something decent next year.

Good win for Villa but they’ve left it too late. West Ham and Watford’s recent wins have finished it.

Villa need at least two wins from games against Everton, Arsenal and West Ham - and one of those wins surely has to be West Ham.

They have a sliver of a chance but it looks too bleak.

Funnily enough I think Everton is the easiest of those games; mid-table with nothing to play for.

and now it goes a little bit interesting.

didn't expect Bournemouth to win.

Will be interesting to see if they get anything out of their trip to Man City. but the big one this weekend, West Ham vs Watford, this is pretty much like a 6 pointer. the winner is most likely safe.

Interesting thing is last time Norwich got relegated their best players Hoolahan and Holt were ageing so didn't get much money for them. I read somewhere that they had the largest wage bill for a season in Championship history. They were in financial trouble but Farke took a very average Championship squad to an unlikely promotion.

This time they have young players who are getting some interest. If they sell 3 of Aarons, Lewis, Godfrey, Cantwell and Hernandez then they'll have enough funding to put a team together and look for re-promotion.

Huge win for Villa tonight. They're terrible but somehow now favourites to stay up.
Last game:

Arsenal vs Watford
West Ham vs Villa

Arsenal will surely be focused on the cup final and who knows how much West Ham will care now their safe. Could be an interesting last day for the relegation battle.
