As I suspected. His brother has died of cancer.

All members of the Real Madrid first-team squad held a minute's silence ahead of training in Montreal following the passing of Farid Zidane, the brother of our coach, Zinedine Zidane.

Poor guy. Terrible news for him.

I know that it’s pre season but they look a big mess. Zidane is going to get found out this season, he’s not a good manager he’s just very respected and can probably motivate his players

The defensive is all over the place. Marcelo is finished, Courtois has been very bad and Odrizolo doesn’t look ready. Nacho has been awful as well
Kroos is so slow and the midfield is a mess without Casemiro

Atletico look pretty special...

I know it's only Real ;) but still. :wideyed:
Yeah - RM have been in the States for a while now, and I am sure they just want to go home. But, it would be hard to pick RM to finish ahead of Atletico or Barça right now.

If Trippier can keep himself in the line-up, he could have a very fun year with Atletico.

The challenge? Is the challenge called “How do I spend $1m a week” ??
I think the challenge is playing for a competitive side. RM are in disarray on and off the pitch, imo.

It is curious that Bale even came into this game if he was going to be announced as off to China tomorrow. Any injury kills that potential deal.

You’re probably right mate. I’m in New York, streaming the game with a slice of pizza and beer. Laughing my tits off at the RM shambles. Chinese football might be worth watching, should be some cracking goals from Bale against players with less ability than he’s used to...

I now expect us to win at least 5-0 against Real Madrid on Tuesday
