I was with you right up until I saw it was the Daily Mail.

Real are trying to get rid of him so there's probably some truth to it, but I reckon he's being offered to a load of clubs regardless, not just Spurs

It would be great to have him putting world class balls into Harry! As well as scoring some himself.

The £250,000 of his wages they want us to pay is the stumbling block. Assuming Poch wants him that is.

If he is available on a 1-2 year loan it's worth strongly considering. He is a superstar and has history at the club. Big game match winner. Would increase our profile comerically too.

It's a kinda unique situation where we are too financially, as the rapid increase in turnover should leave us with sufficient headroom for a unique short term deal like this which is normally not our MO.

The idea of Kane and Bale linking up is pretty exciting to be fair.

If Pochettino really-really wants him I don't think his £250,000 salary would be a stumbling block. It's half of his actual salary and I presume - and hope - it won't create unrest among the other players if Spurs paid Bale that.
But I can't imagine there won't be other clubs after him more than ready to stump up the needed money in a deal that sound (almost) too good to be true.
Son, Kane, Bale up front with Moura off the bench....(y)

Even the thought of both of them on the pitch sent a happy shiver down my spine. I was imagining a commentator saying in a matter of facted way “Bale ... Kane 1-0” “ Kane with the flick, Bale flying past, cut back for Son, it’s 2”....

Give him the freedom of the pitch.

You'd imagine he'd been keen to prove Zidane wrong so Utd could be out due to Europa League football. Chelsea potential transfer ban. Can't see City or Pool looking at him. Juve probably not with Ronaldo there. Bayern - maybe, but they are probably busy screwing over their competitors. Barca and Atleti no way.

Doesn't leave much behind except us and maybe PSG.

Coming back to a club you were incredibly happy at, now with world class facilities and competing in the CL final, pretty good option if you ask me. I bet Levy is looking at it seriously.

Let Levy negotiate to a 200,000 pounds a week and a 5 million fee for two years.

Plausible. Reminds me of the James Rodriguez deal to Bayern on a 2 year loan with an option to buy after he fell out of favour at Real.

I'm probably an unpopular minority on this one....but the club has changed since he left, we have moved on. I am very happy for all his success since he left, but I think the club is better off investing in younger talent. All the best to him, the move was obviously worth it....but not all reunions are glamorous.

Depends on his fitness going forward.
I’m not for going back.
So over to the Pochettino management group!
