Defence - Dragusin 9/10
Midfield - Sarr 9/10
Attack - Solanke 10/10

Special mention - Sonny (15 mins second half) 9/10

Motm for me is Solanke mainly because of the composed chip after not scoring for a while. Quality

I went for Ben Davies. Came on cold when we were struggling and won every challenge, started numerous attacks and settled everyone down. Used his calmness as a catalyst to batter them for 45 minutes.

Can't be easy not playing then getting shoved in the deep end, but he makes it look easy.

Sarr, Deki, Solanke all very good as usual.

Solanke. In terms of signing perfect for a system, he's it.

Pape a close second.

Villa turned up to spoil the way we played. As they struggled against it last season. Cynical tactics that fell flat.

And that fee kick. Wow. The bend was awesome.

And a special 'shout' to vicario.

Dragusin, Sarr, Solanke were best IMO but many others had good moments too. Porro and Romero probably our worst players unless I'm forgetting someone, but they were the ones trying to find the right pass in the first half at least. Son and Johnson redeemed themselves with that goal and assist.

Yeh I've been impressed with Davies for some time, always turns up when asked. I think he has steadily improved during his time with us, without ever setting the world alight. Good pro and player to have

1st half Bentancur and 2nd half Sarr.
A few very good performances, notably Dom, Ben and Radu

Thought everyone was bang up for it today. Sarr and Bentancur were fantastic but Solanke nicks it. That 3rd man goal was a thing of beauty.

I thought Sarr was a clear man of the match.
Solanke 2nd due to his insessant press and super cool finish.
I thought Udogie had his best game for many months.
Massive praise for gentleman Ben

Spurs and Villa went to war
Where most put them on par
When Villa went ahead
Spurs then killed them dead
Because of that man Mater-Sarr

A manager’s dream player. Will play whenever, wherever and however the manager wants without complaint. The consummate professional m. It will be interesting to see how he turns out as a coach or manager

Solanke excellent again, but P M Sarr just edges it for me. Bloke was absolutely everywhere again.
