TBF he and Lo Celso are quite similar.I think that tells you that they didn’t watch the game at all.

Gio was clearly MOTM tonight but some are going way overboard about his performance
We were playing Norwich who will be relegated without a trace by about March
Shocking though they are, they still created the best chances early on but luckily for us they couldn’t hit a barn door
Can we find a No9 and can Ndombele get fit and stay fit to save us from mid table obscurity
Sonny hasn't had a shot on target since his suspension - shocking
Lloris - 7 decent return
Aurier - 7 one of his better performances
Toby - 6 just okay
Jan - 5 clearly in decline
Sess - 4 not a LB. Looked unsure all night. Clumsy foul for penalty
Winks - 6 solid if unspectacular
GLC - 9 best player on the pitch by miles. Great pressing and constantly used the ball well
Dele - 4 scored but don’t let that fool you. He was dross (again). Lost count of the number of times he lost the ball in decent positions, often down to poorly executed attempts to be clever. Needs to be dropped
Son - 5 lacking form/confidence but didn’t let his head drop. Important goal
Moura - 5 not a starter. Ran about but to little effect
Subs
Eriksen - 3 Useless cameo summed up by hugely misplacing a forward pass and then having a go at Sess, a junior player, for not reaching it. Regularly booed. Mourinho must stop picking him
Fernandes - 5 hard to judge. Didn’t make a much of an impact
Dier - 5 okay but otherwise not good enough to play CM or DM for a side hoping to finish in the top 4
Lo Celso - 8
Aurier - 7.5
Toby - 7
Lloris, Verts, Winks - 6.5
Gedson, Dier - 6
Sess - 5
Eriksen, Lamela, Dele, Lucas, Son - 10 -> what makes it everyone a 2
I'm sorry, but anyone who rates any player any lower than Sessegnon was obviously not paying attention.
Seems odd that Winks isn't getting much credit, it's no coincidence that we seemed to lose control of the game after he went off. Guess he falls into the Carrick category of being underrated whilst playing such an important role.
I thought Dele played okay (not great), and feel that Lo Celso deserved to have his performance highlighted. However, my standout moment from last night's Match of the Day was a rare moment of genius from Phil Neville.MOTD - ‘Dele was the most influential player on pitch...”
do they actually watch the same fucking games as us?
