Somehow we have become a horrible side to watch and a very easy side to play against. This is down to one man and one man only. Poch should be under serious threat of losing his job. Incredibly poor display yet again.

The irony is that we actually played well for the most part today. But there is clearly something very wrong. We cant defend anymore!

I'm getting increasingly concerned and I think that the time is rapidly approaching where this becomes a crisis, if it isnt already, and we will need a change in direction.

I though rose was poor, ndombele played well, as did aurier and lamela.

Really disappointed.

Gazza - 4 - that Maddison strikes his positioning is wayward

Aurier - 6 done okay better than any other right back we have

Toby - 5 just meh

Jan - 5 meh ahain

Rose 2 - abysmal and the passing towards
the end was almost deliberate mistake levels

Ndombele 4 - what have we bought here?

Winks 5 - looks busy looks like a player but in reality he just does everything at speed which makes him look all action but he offers fuck all

Sissoko 6 - should never have been booked when he went off the light went out

Lamela 6 - the only player on the pitch that wanted to fight

Son - 5 clumsy and tired

Kane 5 - genius goal other than that shot to many times when he could have passed

Wanyama - why would he bring him on laughable decision

Moura - 15 minutes too late

Eriksen - if he doesn’t start he won’t make an impact off the bench powderpuff player

No argument here as that is where I put the blame as well. His game management is atrocious and I have been saying that since last season.

In descending order of culpability:

Pochettino: for not having the balls to say ‘sorry Hugo, you’re paid a fortune, we supported you when others wouldn’t while you became a criminal, now you make a sacrifice for us; for being reactive instead of proactive in his substitutions and taking off two players who were playing well and replacing them with like for like players who dramatically reduced our quality, and not bring on a guy who is scoring regularly until the 86th minute; for persisting with the diamond.

Son: for continued acts of inexcusable selfishness, poor decision making and wastefulness in front of goal.

Kane: ditto on the wasteful finishing, but at the same time I feel harsh considering how well he did dropping deep and holding the ball up, as well as scoring a class goal.

Rose: for being a 29 year old full international who is far more dedicated to his strange press rhetoric (where he unashamedly dilutes the serious issue of mental health by using it as an excuse to spout banality) than he is to learning how to pass and cross; for running around like a headless chicken and exhibiting faux passion but never engaging with the game around him; for playing for himself instead of his team. Bumped down from being third most culpable due to one great saving moment in the box.

That’s that.

Edit: throw Aurier in there too somewhere having just seen the equaliser as well.

Gazza - 5 - Lucky not to concede after his fumble. Beaten from distance for the winner.
Aurier - 7 - Unlucky not to score in what was a joke offside decision against Son. Offered something offensively all game.
Toby - 7 - Looked fairly composed dealt with Vardy pretty well.
Verts - 6 - First half he was very ponderous and his body language very languid, did not look up for it.
Rose - 6 - Mainly for effort. Cannot think of anything he offers offensively these days. Was atrocious last 10 mins but I think he got a knock.
Winks - 8 - Looks like he cares and he played pretty well.
Sissoko - 8 - Ditto, unlucky to get booked for a very strong tackle that was no different to Evans on Kane 2nd half.
Ndombele - 7 - Some nice flashes showing how he can beat the press and pass incisively. Looks lazy out of possession though and needs to up his game IMO.
Lamela - 8 - Excellent 1st half, but disappeared second half.
Son 7 - Not as sharp as usual, nice run and assist for our goal. Wasteful with other chances.
Kane 7 - Nice goal, but looked unfit second half. How they turned over possession from him for their winner was really very poor as he did not put any effort into winning the ball. He also missed a very good chance when he banged it straight at their keeper.

Wanyama - 5 - Looked off the pace, got booked immediately and offered nothing offensively.
Eriksen - 5 - Weak and lost possession too easily on multiple occasions to opponents who wanted it more than him. Very frustrating.
Moura - Too little time to judge.

Poch - 5 - Our form in 2019 is relegation form. I think some of the players are not responding to him anymore, might be a case of him needing to move players on rather than him. But we are regularly out fought by teams who want it more than us. If we wanted to win the game Wanyama was not the player to bring on for Sissoko. We've lost our edge. We lost it last Xmas. And there are little signs of it coming back.

Hand on - which Lamela do I vote for?

meh - hate watching us lose but sort of enjoyed it as a game of football

Rose ran out of steam and we could have had the result on another day - Leicester are no mugs and played decent football. It's just a shame we don't look the Spurs of a couple of years ago.

I wish we had 11 Lamelas instead of just 2. ?
It would certainly be more fun than what we're witnessing at present, but not sure how many Lamela's would be left on the pitch by the end, surely two bookings and they'd all have to go...

I see Joe Cole and Crouch got stuck into Aurier on BT sports highlighting passages of play but that was to me a bit unfair.

That was quite predictable us losing again, serious questions should be asked of the partnership of Toby and Vertonghen far to slow and ponderous for my liking. With the ball at their feet both ain't bad but actual defending of late (even going back to last season) has left far too many question. It's time Poch built the defence around Sanchez (IMO he is the best natural defender at the club) and for the next few games if fit Dier need to come into the team.

Gazza. 5 Got off the hook with the first disallowed goal other than that you can't blame him for the goals.

Aurier 6. I thought he was pretty good overall. Yes there were moments his final ball was very poor and to be honest it wasn't up to standard and he was out of position for Leicester first goal but they still had a lot to do before scoring.

Vertonghen. 4 Poor. Sorry guys. I now he's loved. Without a proper defensive midfield player/shield he's far too exposed for pace. Still the best left back at the club- probably needs to be move on.

Toby. 4 He's become a better footballer on the ball however he has got worse at defending just to think he was compared to Van Dijk not to long ago how badly his fallen. I feel the partnership between both he and Vets has been very poor over some time now - a player that needs to be move on.

Rose. 4 Yes he has passion commitment however his quality out wide is not of the standard required - a player that need to move on .

Sissoko- 7 Energy strength all that good stuff off the ball very good professional got stuck in and showed that aggression to win games.

Winks- 7 Good game covered Ndombele covered the pitch unlucky to be playing with this bunch of Tottenham players

Lamela- 7.5 Enjoyed the position he played, got on the ball moved it quickly worked hard off the ball too...can he stay fit? was always a clever player deserved better.

Ndombele- 5 I was not impressed. I must admit. Struggling to close down. Clearly it's going to take him time to adjust to the pace. Was hoping he'd be straight up to speed but might take him a season maybe half a season hopefully a quarter of a season if we're lucky he did get better as the game went on so.

Son- 4 Thats the problem with Son. He blows hot and cold, just like Moura. Did nothing all game and made the wrong decision time again.

Kane- 8 Worked his socks off I felt. Brilliant goal. I hope Dele Alli can get back to form quickly without being under pressure or pulling up a hamstring

Poch. Question will be asked now, the pressure is on and voices are becoming louder and fair enough as many non Spurs pose a valid question about us moving forward. That as side I felt team selection on paper / circumstance was probably right . I do feel now it's time for Dier Sanchez Alli to be introduced into the team and possibly some development players . At this moment far to many players ain't good enough

NDombele was extremely disappointing, for a £60m player I expect much, much more to be honest.
