Youngsters all did well, but, in such an inexperienced and piecemeal team, you need senior pros to step up, do their jobs and do them well. On that basis, Bissouma my MOTM.

Gray was excellent tonight. He played in two positions - CB and LB - for the first time ever in a competitive game and rose to the challenge. Extraordinary talent.

So many good shifts today. Porro, Vic, Sarr, Biss etc all very good.

Gave it to Gray (what a player) but Mikey was close. Brennan great when came on.

Just a good night. So glad we now have a manager that does this. 3 points was a bonus.

Bissouma is my pick, probably his best game for us in a while, starting to find his form again hopefully.

I saw that Bissouma was picked by quite a few (as motm), I thought he gave the ball away too often and while he looked good dribbling wise, his distribution was a little off today. (and I'm a big fan)

Mine was Gray, I thought he was exceptional in possession and played CB as if he was an experienced pro, some great long passing too.

Shout out to Moore (of course), Romero was once again exemplary.

More impressive was the fight we showed as a team. The only criticism was Maddison when he came on and was poor.

There were a lot of good performances tonight; Porto, Romero, Bissouma, Sarr, Grey and Moore were all very good and Langshear had an impressive debut. Grey played both LCB and LB and was impressive in both roles. He really is calm under pressure, very press resistant.
I’m surprised that Sarr only got I’ve vote. I thought it was possibly his best game for us. He covered every inch grass, defending , breaking up play, linking up play topping all off with a good goal.

In the end Moore just pipped Sarr for my MOM. He does what too few players do which is run at defenders with the ball, make them have to make a decision. Doing that he had a hand in both goals. A very impressive performance for one so young on first start away in an EuropaLeague game.
