This match proved why Moura can’t be trusted to start regularly. Great squad/impact player but just doesn’t have the game intelligence to fit into the team dynamic. Doesn’t make good runs, regularly over runs the ball in possession, doesn’t cross the ball or make good passes, fails to offer himself for a pass when the player on the ball in under pressure. He just looks lost. Love the guy but totally understand why Poch prefers others over him when fit.
I believe Malcolm was Pochettino first choice.

Not sure myself on why so many think Sanchez had a good game - he is looking better for 90% of the time, but still prone to major errors - maybe I am seeing it wrong but thought another week he gives away a pen and is sent off as last man.

Sissoko didn't do much wrong, Toby ok, Aurier and Davies too.

Moura and Eriksen were terrible, so was Lo Celso - couln't keep the ball. NDomblele early on looked on it, but faded after about 30.

Just tiresome seeing the same performance week in week out

So are you suggesting Sanchez had a poor game? If you are please tell us your reasoning

Aside from what I already said? 2 potentially critical errors that on another week go against him? 90% of his performance good but still major lapses?

What is everyone else seeing. Who would be your captain?
Realistically from that starting XI there is only Toby (who wouldn’t get it), Sissoko, Son or Davies. We’re seriously lacking leaders on the pitch!

Gazza - 8 - He's pulled off some nice saves, and his distribution has been good.

Aurier - 6 - He was pretty good defensively. But average offensively. And as usual, had a brain fart.
Toby - 6 - Did fine. Wasn't really that troubled. But again, seemed to switch off when we were at our most vulnerable.
Davinson - 7 - I'm glad he's getting more game time. He can only learn and grow if he's playing.
Davies - 6 - hella rusty. but not as functionally thick as danny rose

Sissoko - 6 - Did fine. Nothing more, nothing less. He was kinda, just there.
Tanguy - 6 - First half was a 7, second half a 5. It's pretty concerning that he seems to run outta steam so quickly.

Son - 5 - He wasn't having a good game prior to the sending off. Feel for the lad. But I wish he hadn't made such a boneheaded challenge in the first place.
Dele - 6 - He gets one extra point for scoring. Again, looked flakey and weak.
Eriksen - 4 - It's astonishing to see just how awful he has become. And I can't imagine what Lo Celso, Wanyama, Dier, Skippy, etc must think, when they are on the bench, and they see this pathetic excuse for a footballer prancing around, doing his level best to skip away from challenges and refusing to give an ounce of passion to the cause.
Moura - 5 - He wasn't at the races either. But I can forgive him, because he gets so little game time. It's unfair to expect him to jump in and be effective from the get-go. Not when you're only starting games here and there. Plus, he rarely gets played in his best position.

Poch - 2 - Learns nothing. Stubborn as a gallstone. Starting Eriksen, and out of form Dele and the ticking time bomb known as Aurier, is the equivalent of waving the white flag. On top of that, I couldn't begin to tell you what formation they were playing. On top of that, the players looked leggy and there was almost zero rhythm to the way the were playing. Like most of our league games this season, we were outplayed. Which is now a full on disease that's affected the whole team. I don't see a way out of this spectacular fall from grace. Wish he'd do the honorable thing now, and walk away.

Tend to agree Richarlison had a couple of great chances that on another day could have been goals and both down to Sanchez switching off. Thought he was bit slow off the mark for their goal but that might be a bit harsh.

Yeah tough to be critical on him for the goal, great cross from Digne, excellent movement and header from Tosun. Issue from the goal was Mina having about 3 days to pick out a pass, you can see Dele shouting at Moura to close him down (I like Moura but switches off defensively too often, not what you need when backs against the wall) and eventually has to be pulled out himself, but too late.

Eriksen I’d give you. Dele Alli was the right decision
