Gazzaniga 6 - distribution okay, not really called on

Toby 7 - wasn’t really tested but kept his head with their cheating forward
Sanchez 8 - took the brunt of the cheat, best game he’s had for a while
Aurier 7 - didn’t get booked
Davies 6 - strange decision to give him the armband, caught out of position a fair bit and gave the ball away on numerous occasions

Sissoko 5 - didn’t see him coming forward with the ball
NDombele 6 - first 40 he was the best player on the park, disappeared after that

Dele 7 - ran around a bit, took his goal really well
Eriksen 2 - how much more can anyone take of his shit show?
Son 7 - can’t understand why he was left and not up top, only one who put a shift in.
Lucas 4 - anonymous for most of the game

Lo celso 5 - done more than Eriksen

Poch 4 - same shit different game, why can’t he see what everyone else does or does he and is just being a tool?
Agree on most but I thought Davies did well and wore the armband, deservedly.

I'm going to go against the common thoughts and say this is the most encouraged I have been this season. Players were making runs and moving again. The quality might not have been great but we were finally moving. I think Eriksen, Aurier and Toby are just not here mentally or good enough.

The rest of the team did better than what they have shown recently. I think we would have had a clean sheet had it not been for the stupid red card.

Gazza 6 - I don't think he controls the defence as much as he needs to. He really needs to start clearing his lines more and bring some calm to the defence.

Aurier 4 - I just don't know what goes on in his head on the pitch. He just doesn't play as part of the team in defence, but in attack he is so much better. Unfortunately, he is paid to defend first.

Toby 5 - good individually but he needs to control the defence

Sanchez 7 - controlled Richarlison and looks better with each game.

Davies 6 -he did well but in a few occasions he just didn't get the support he needed at times to move the ball forward.

Sissoko 7 -huffed and puffed, and is starting to develop a partnership with NDombele

NDombele 7 - not sure why we need eriksen on the pitch when NDombele plays more progressive passes than CE

Eriksen 3 - for all the running, he is contributing very little. He needs to just be dropped. Winks or Lamela please

Alli 7 - better each game now and is starting to get more involved. Took his goal really well. With him and NDombele playing well CE can fcuk off

Son 7 - always our most dangerous player and again I thought anything good would come through him. Red card was a disgrace.

Lucas - not rating him. Have no idea what his instructions were but it just seemed like it didn't suit him.

Subs - not much they could do

Awful game. So many poor performances.

Have to say I’m starting to lose faith in Moura. Impact sub at best
I’d have played him wide with Son up top, not like Son hasn’t done it before. Crazy arse decision if you ask me!

Really don't understand the high marks here. Only Gazza deservers a 7 from this game.

Poch's game management is completely incompetent and indefensible at this point.

To quote my work from school, 20 years ago, in French class. That was “le poopoo” which I’m reliably informed means a generally poor performance by all barring Ndombele and Sanchez.

Will be an interesting game next week against a very confident Sheff Utd. We may be better “technically” but those boys work their socks off and have a very clever set plan. If we don’t turn up then they will win that game.
.

With that pile of dross displayed against Everton, where we just :
1. Lumped the ball up in a hopeful manner without any gameplan
2. losing possession whenever we did try to play the short passing game
3. Very flaky 1st touch by almost every player

I will not say we are technically better than Sheffield United

Chris Wilder was at Goodison Park, today, he must be very confident for next weekend after what he saw.

Both teams looked scared of losing, even both managers looked on edge. The injury probably has kept the media sharpening their knives a bit over both managers

Gazza was good. Dombele showed glimpses of good stuff. Davison was excellent. Bar the goal Alli was poor, Eriksen was dreadful. The rest bang average and that's being kind

A game that lacked poise, creativity, intensity and just about everything. It was like a throwback to the AVB days

Gazza 8 - One really top, top save to deny Richarlison. Good feet.
Aurier 7 - Fairly consistent all game, got into last third well, especially first half.
Toby 7 -
Sanchez - 7 - I thought Sanchez had a bad start to thefirst half and gave the ball away cheaply 3 times in the first 8 mins. He did have a much better 2nd half. He just seems to get too tight and easily could have had a penalty given against him. He won the battle with Richarlison though ?
Davies 7 - Solid
Sissoko 7 - None of his bursting runs in a more conservative role as DCM.
Ndombele 8 - For the first 60 mins he was the best player. Tired badly again though. Would like to see him played more as a 10 with 2 x CMs behind him.
Son 6 - Gutted for him to get a stupid unfair red. Before that he had not done too much and thought that Poch played him in the wrong position first half.
Dele 7 (mainly for well taken goal) - Very well taken goal. Better game than last week.
Eriksen 2 - He only got a 2 for one wicked free kick otherwise would have been a 1. He bottled every tackle, didn't press with any intensity, lost the ball almost every time he got it. It was liek playign with ten men - Pathetic. Where did our world class AM go? And WTF does Poch keep picking him?
Moura 5 - Not for lack of effort, but he is not a lone CF. Was more effective playing from the right 2nd half and had probably the best chance of the match but fluffed it with little composure when through on goal.

Lo Celso - 7 - So much better tan Eriksen in that he kept the ball and tackled.
Foyth - 7 - Did o.k.
Sessegnon - Too late to make any difference Poch. He was brought on about 57 minutes too late.

Poch - 2 - Another poor team selection. Team needed to be changed at HT. Then worst case after 60 mins. Waited until way too late, as usual. Wrong team, wrong game management. Cannot turn this around. Needs to go. People will say the Son red card cost us the game. We should have beaten a very poor Everton team by half a dozen goals again. The fact we went the first 45 mins without registering a shot on goal was pathetic. The fact he then sent exactly the same team out for the 2nd half shows how bad his judgement and game management is right now. Howe, Mourinho, Allegri, Benitez - I'd take any of them just to get this over with. At present we are more likely to get relegated than qualify for the CL this season. Think about how that will help attract top talent and retain our top players like Kane, Son etc.

I am basing it on his loyalty to the club more but I see your point.
I’d be loyal to a club if I knew the only move I’d get away from it would be to a significantly worse one. He’s bang average

This. People giving all 7 and 8s out here is embarrassing. Guess they didn't watch the game or have forgot how the 1-10 scala works.

That was another shitty performance for most of the team, and none deserved more than a 6.

Comical seeing Lucas getting 2 or 3 higher ratings than Eriksen, when he didn't set a single foot right. People are so blinded by their hate for the player they're finding it hard to be objective.

Pochettino needs to stop picking Eriksen. Dude's confidence is shot. Might well have a Xhaka situation in our hands soon.
If we as fans stoop as low as those troll supporters down the road do - I will be VERY upset .
We are better than that shower
I do agree CE should be dropped

Can't agree. I think he's better defensively than Rose. And he's a Welsh international. Wales may not be a big player in those terms, but Davies never lets us down in terms of effort and commitment.

I really don't understand why Dier wasn't on after Son's red card (or even put Ryan as LB and move Davies to CB)

This match proved why Moura can’t be trusted to start regularly. Great squad/impact player but just doesn’t have the game intelligence to fit into the team dynamic. Doesn’t make good runs, regularly over runs the ball in possession, doesn’t cross the ball or make good passes, fails to offer himself for a pass when the player on the ball in under pressure. He just looks lost. Love the guy but totally understand why Poch prefers others over him when fit.
