A better team selection and performance which resulted in a more convincing win than of recent, especially seeing the quality of the opposition's home record in Europe.

I am undecided with my MOTM at the moment

Very encouraging game. MotM could have been any of about 6 but went for Sonny.

I went for Ndombele. Some of his forward runs and passes were excellent. That's a tough CM pairing to come up.against.

More of this in the prem please mr Poch.

Celso for me. Was excellent. Ndombele was also very good but we should have been punished when he overplayed it in our backfield. He used to do that a fare bit at Lyon. Hope it was just a blip. Aside from that he was brilliant. Foyth did a great job at right back. Just wish he was quicker.

Ndombele was very good. Lo celso was also good. Little shout for Dier as well, decent performance. Foyth also very good at right back. Nice cameo from sessegnon, I'd forgotten how well he moves. Lovely balance.

Overall happy, few sloppy moments but we need to build on it. Play that team again. Although I would have lamela in for Alli. He works so much harder and offers more on the ball.

Gazzaniga has little today... apart from make one wonder save and tip another onto the bar. By such fine margins doth another poor night become a 4-0 thrashing.

Foyth, one early click up aside, did well. Used his pace and strength to hold firm defensively, lots of pace, skill and passing in attack. More please.

Sanchez was imperious in the air, brought the call out well and showed a lot of pace and energy to stop attacks early.

Dier showed leadership, organised the back line and brought the ball forward well.

Rose did well, loads of tenacity, great pressing and continually got in behind. Nice cross for Son.

Sissoko was good, energetic in both directions and pretty disciplined defensively though it’s still clear it’s not his natural game.

Ndombele had a few sloppy moments but boy do I love watching him play. Those fast through balls, the dribbling, that run in the build up to Sons goal. Lovely player.

Lo Celso was great, composed for his goal, linked well with Foyth down the right, inventive and a goal threat while showing great tenacity to start off his own goal, and generally defending well.

Dele was encouraging, taking up great positions and pressing well. Tried too hard on occasion and lacked a bit of confidence a few times. Lovely pass for Son’s first.

Son grew into the game, scored two good goals and even if he didn’t always make the best choice, was a constant thorn in Belgrade’s back line. Good show of reverence too.

Kane won’t get the plaudits tonight but he made runs off the ball, popped up where he wasn’t wanted by Belgrade, hit the pass of the match for Rose to assist Son.

Eriksen took up decent positions even if execution was lacking. Hopefully the goal gives him some confidence.

Sessegnon crosses well for Eriksen.

Skipp deserves a bollocking for what can only be described as a dirty tackle and completely needlessly.

Most encouraging for me was the highpress, undoubtedly facilitated by a quick defence that was able to play a high line, the off the ball movement and some slick passing.
