Dunno if he’d be disciplined enough or have the positional nous.

The bit of freedom at 8 helps him get around and put out fires higher up
I don’t think Ange is gonna have an 8 and a dedicated Dm. The games we have lost this season is because our full backs have an attaching mentality, our wide forwards, wingers are clearly told to stay up. I just feel if we had a DM to cover both sides we would have won a lot more.. We have good CBS, Romero I would move on, he simply doesn’t seem committed. He’s a Madrid CB imo.

That’s a fair assessment, but it’s the fires at the back that have cost us so many points.

Definitely too low for Udogie, Bissouma and Solanke. All brilliant

I thought Udogie's tracking back at times was horrendous.

Not sure whether carrying an injury, unfit, or just a lack of desire.

The Haaland chance early on he had plenty of time in the move to get back into position and help Davies.

He ignores the inevitable overload - jogs casually back - and Haaland should score.

He's been like it all season. Good in moments going forward. Seems to have regressed physically in his tracking back and 1v1s.

Not sure I would blame Udogie for that result. Both fullbacks were getting overloaded at times. Midfield did a good job of doubling up. But this is city. There will be chances we have to suffer. But hey we won 4-0.

I’ll have to watch it again, but I didn’t see that at all and I thought his use of the ball was superb, as was his defending in the second half when they had loads of the ball and where being shown wide

You seen the state of Jo Guest these days? Mate of mine just forwarded a pic of her on our WhatsApp group, proper Ipswich 🤣

I went with team effort, but if Vicario had bonked on any of his saves, I feel like City would have grabbed momentum. Brilliant clean sheet from him.

Thought we bossed them in that midfield. Sarr, Kulusevski and Maddison was where we won the game. Take your pick out of those three for man of the match.

I thought it was very naieve of City to play a midfield of Lewis (worked hard, but couldn't do it on his own), Gundogan (barely even noticed him), Silva (when did he become Robbie Savage?)

Vicario was immense, Davies and Dragusin were solid. Porro v good, and the rest were good.

The way we play is perfect against city, I don't think there is a single team in the PL other than them that'd try and press us so hard.

Get beat off Ipswich and then smash city, it's going to be an absoloute roller-coaster of a season.

Pretty much, although I don't think Bissouma should score less than anyone else.
