Unpopular opinion but I thought Bissouma was exceptional, especially after getting a yellow after 16 sec

Honestly I think he is starting to wind his neck in. He’s a baller only thing that has held him back is attitude, I think passed on a message because after the yellow, he wound it back and controlled the game.

Not unpopular he was great, sadly it was only after the card he seemed more disciplined. And I think the card was justified if I’m being honest.

Vicario 13/10 : claiming from corners, some important saves

Porro 11/10 : clean sheet and goal

Dragusin 11/10 : used the ball well and clean sheet away to City!

Davies 11/10 : used the ball well and clean sheet away to City!

Udogie 11/10 : used the ball well and clean sheet away to City!

Bissouma 13/10 : yellow card from 30 seconds, absolutely outstanding!

Sarr 12/10 : so much energy

Maddison 18/10 : 2 great goals. Used the ball so well, such a mature performance

Kulu 15/10 : worked so hard. Peach of a cross, fantastic performance

Solanke 15/10 : linked play, held ball up so well, assist and just excellent all round pressing and performance

Son 13/10 : used the ball really well, beautiful assist for Maddison, captains performance for 60 mins

Ange 100/10 : Best Tottenham PL win and performance ever imo.

Subs all fantastic also.

For the first 10 minutes we looked like we would lose the game 4-0 but as soon as we scored the first goal we began to gain confidence in our game plan. Over the 90 minutes there were so many solid performances that it seems unfair to vote for anything other than Team Work.
Having said that there were some outstanding individual performances. The whole of the back 5 played really well with one of our most disciplined defensive performances. Within that Vicario made some good saves and Dragusin and Davies were excellent not only defensively but in setting up attacking movements.
Maddison was nearly my MOM not only for two technically well taken goals but for his work rate defensively and always trying to get us moving forward. Probably his best game for us.
Kulusevski worked his socks off and had a hand in 2 of the 4 goals.
Bissouma did well to keep his discipline after getting a yellow card in the first minute.
Sarr just has so much energy. He’s just everywhere. He’s going to be a really big star hopefully for us.
Solanke as always worked hard for the team and set up Porro brilliantly for the Third goal.
It was good to see 3 of the substitutes, Bergvall, Werner and Johnson all involved in the 4th goal.
Special mention also to Postecoglu who got just about everything right, lineup, tactics and substitutions. They’d obviously had been doing some defensive work in training in the last week.

For some reason this result probably pissed me off more than pleases me, being a Spurs fan really is frustrating.

I put down teamwork and although Maddison looked incredible with two well taken goals if one player had to get it, it would be kulu. I think he truly is our real captain starting next year when romero + Son + maddison most likely gone. He works hard, and more than anything, he makes big time plays in big time games
