Lloris - 6 - Sloppy error for their goal. Do we need to upgrade in the summer after a very inconsistent 18 months?
Tanganga - 6 - Struggled first half against a very good left winger. Will take time for hm to be consistent as he is playing all across the back 5 in a very unsettled defence.
Sanchez - 5 - Looked extremely clumsy today, lucky not to concede a penalty and very poor on the ball throughout.
Toby - 6 - Not his best game.
Dier - 7 - 5 for the first half and 8 for the second. Much better in CM than CD today for a change.
Verts - 7.5 - Best defender and offered something going forwards as well.
Skipp - 5 - Struggled.
Ndombele - 6 - Looks like a luxury player in a tough league. He was the player we needed the last 18 months to open up teams who park the bus. Not the player we need now the going is tough.
Lamela - 6 - I thought he was very poor today, bad decision making and missed opportunities to do more.
Dele - 6.5 - 5 for up until he scored (he was hopeless first half) and 8 afterwards. Looked a different player after the goal.
Bergwijn - 6.5 - I think he is still playing a little within himself after his move as he doesn't seem to want to attempt try to beat his man.

Lo Celso - 8.5 - Looked a different quality to the other 21 players on the pitch. Have to question why he was not started.
Moura - 7.5 - Looked out most dangerous forward.
Aurier - 7 - Offered good width on the right and put in a couple of dangerous balls.

Mourinho - 6.5 - Set the team up way too negatively again. Was happy to see he was able to change things and get the players to respond after HT. Hopefully he forgets about playing a back 5 from now on as it does not suit any of our players.

GLC motm
I like him very much as the deep play maker.
There is always more space for creatives further back - Modric found this too.
But he needs to cut out the mistakes.

The mistakes seem to be in our DNA unfortunately. All over the pitch

Playing the way he is the odd mistake can be forgiven.

Everyone else though...

Gio took MOM for me but there was a moment or two that he will want to remember

Though Dier came out of his poor form in 2nd It would be great asset if he can play like that for the rest
of the season

Glc again different gravy... He could play for man city and not look out of place.
Feel sorry for the team, they have been left out to dry by having no forwards.... Pathetic, a fucking crime we let a window pass and didn't address this huge problem.

GLC could turn into one of the best players we have ever had. He is really exciting, grabs hold of the game and makes people around him play. The kind of player you want to go to matches to see

A game of two halves in more than one respect. Still not happy as I do not think Jose knows his best team or tactics.
I think he probably does by now Bullet, he just can’t play them because the core of that best team is injured.

That's the difference between us and a huge club like United. They did what they had to do and we didn't again. (Ighalo).
Doesn't matter if he's not long term.

I agree with United being a bigger club however I feel we did better than usual in the Jan window and got dicked around by Chelsea

Lo celso is eriksen 2.0 but he can run, dribble, take people on. Verdict is out if he can shoot. But his passing ability and vision is one of the best I’ve seen. I can’t wait to get him playing with son and Kane properly. Starting to see glimpses of what life is going to be like under mourinho when we push and I am actually getting excited.

Thought Dier was MOTM. GLC was ok in parts when he came on. But not MOTM in my opinion. A tough game we battled through after a poor first half. A good fight back by the lads. Shout out to Skipp - keep going kid!

How many times are we going to have a terrible first half it’s happening almost every match.

2nd half much better and that was due to GLC so he gets MOTM.
We were dominant in the first half against Wolves. Then we went AWOL. It varies from match to match. The only consistent trait is that we aren't consistent through any match.

I’ve given up commenting on him! I only wish someone loved me the way a few of his fanboys love him! Heck, maybe he’ll even help the team occasionally!

Lloris - 5 (at fault for goal imo, Alisson doesn’t spill that)
Tanganga - 7 (good second half)
Davinson - 5
Toby - 6
Jan - 6
Dier - 7 (good second half)
Skipp and Ndombele - 6 (thought both were fine, system was problem in first half not personnel)
Dele - 7 (good second half)
Bergwijn - 6
Lamela - 6

Aurier - N/A
Lo Celso - 8 MOTM
Lucas - 7

As I said, system was the issue and once we made the switch at HT we looked miles better, all in all not a bad point considering we played 120 mins in midweek, are on poor form and went 1-0 down.
ya Allison just let em in 3 at a time at Watford

GLC’s pace, positivity and al round play changed the second half. Nearly undone all his good work at the end, but that was from a desire to get the ball forward and win it. Just shades Dier for MOTM for me.

Another keeping error... sigh ?
matters less when you have players like Kane who can bang in 3 at the other end, but currently we are struggling for goals, so being clinical at the back is paramount.

Oh Erik Erik... always always the same. Start game, poor performance. Come on as a sub and look awesome. Weird.

Not sure how anyone can give Dier MOTM, yes he was decent second half, but his shit header led to there goal in the first

People saying GLC needs to cut out the mistakes - yes the two moments at the end were annoying, but the reason he makes the odd mistake is that he shows for, and sees more of the ball than any of our other players. He takes responsibility and uses it rather than just abdicating it with a silly flick like so much of what Dele does. And he’s ambitious with the ball, always looking to be positive and clever.

He’s always going to lose the ball more than others with that attitude, Lamela does the same but GLC is even more noticeable as he plays deeper.

For me he can keep losing the ball in silly moments as long as continues to do ten times more good, positive work with it.
