Watch JM's post-match interview. It's brutal. He agrees with everyone on the forum that the team was shit and it was his fault for choosing them. He didn't say it directly but both Bergwin and Dele disappointed him.

Judging by his tone and "leaning things" about a couple of players I wouldn't be at all suprised if this is the last we've seen of Dele in a spurs shirt.

So our m/f was Winks/Lo C/Ali what other outcome could we expect

Our m/f is Hojbjerg/Lo C/Ndombele
I know they couldnt play/start but I expected shit and shit is what I got

But thanks to the poster who actually put up some ratings I am too angry to myself

Interestingly FootballLondon gave all our subs 6
which brings me to the Long Covid/Long Tottenham watch.
Moura can do one asap and the sooner Citeh take Winks the better for me.
Thats all
Mr (whats worse than Angry?)

All I will say, is I'm perfectly capable of forming my own opinions and thoughts without going along with the status quo. If you want to dig people out for having a pop at sanchez, do so. But I'm still a bit perplexed as to what my comments on Ben have to do with anything, from my own individual perpsective? Anyway. Neither center back was helped by the midfield today, left exposed and played a high line, which didn't help when they got caught on the break. Sanchez.did ok today to be fair to him, put in a good last man tackle? Ben also cleared one from going in.
I was just referring to the play that conceded the goal

Was this a secret ploy to have us stay 'under the radar'? I bloody well hope so...
Don't be surprised if we will see 5 or even more similar performances in the remainder of the season, there are still too many players at this club who haven't got the right mentality or who are not good enough anyway.

Still an awful lot to do and José will probably need at least two more windows to fix those obvious problems.

Its all doom and gloom now in SC, the players aren't good enough, we dont have the right mentality etc, but if we beat Brighton this Sunday despite playing badly, everyone will forget today's result, be stupidly positive again and proclaim we will win the league

Antwerp were fantastic, they had their game plan and stuck to it....like shit to a blanket.
They got a hold of us and fucked us, no kissing or foreplay just whipped us around and shoved it up us!

MOTM = whatever one of the Antwerp team that had the biggest dick!

I think we can still qualify so this game isn't that important. However with only 2 shots on targets and the subs that were made, it's obvious that the problem lies in offence. Of the 5 who were subbed off a couple have excuses (GLC not fully fit, Bale not fully fit, Vinicius new to club) so its no wonder that the media spotlight fell on Bergwin and Dele. I don't think question marks should be raised on their ability given what they had done for the club, but consistency/mentality is worth questioning. They have been around long enough and should be able to perform 'on demand' (i.e: can't use 'not played enough games recently' as an excuse). The fact they did not dominate against an inferior opposition tells you something...

like watching a pre-season friendly with all the subs. hard to do ratings when 9 of the 16 players involved played 45 minutes or less.

Jose, when you play Winks for 90 minutes, you are setting up for your FRINGE players to fail.

The defense was not protected and the offense has no support. By persisting with Winks and subbing GLC, you are also giving the wrong message to the team; that its ok to play safe useless passes, that its ok to be a coward.

This one is on you Jose.

Disappointing, feels like lost a pound found a penny!

We need to build on momentum although league game will be different i believe, and maybe right now we are all fucked off, though when we are through to next stage and killing the league in months to come it won't look so bad! (Feel like giving myself optimistic rating)

Part of me thinks Jose has played a blinder here. He got to try out some second string and different positions and let his feelings known how bad this is. He's going to expect a reaction, a message to some players he won't tolerate crap like this and hopefully they fight for their place.

The only positive it was just a group game we are still in the hunt for

The best team won no complaints. They could have had a few more. Some poor performances out there tonight.
BUT
Mourinho says he wanted us qualify out of the group as quickly as possible but away to a team who’ve won 5 in a row including away in the first round of theEL he makes 9 outfield changes and the one that remained(Davies) played in a different position. I’m not sure why he’s surprised with how the game went especially in the 1st half. Teams build momentum with wins so by relegating the team with the momentum to the bench you lose that edge. While I understand the need to rotate 9 is too many changes. surely it’s better to start with as many as possible of your first choice team, get a good lead then make changes. You’re allowed 5 subs so if you got a good lead you could then rest nearly all your 1st teamers. Leicester only made 4-5 changes and got a lead, then made changes and won the game
I’ve never understood the logic of have your best players on the bench to get a rest and in case you need them. Play your match winners from the start then rest them later in the game.
To be honest not sure why 2 games a week is too much? These are super fit individuals. Players always say they prefer playing to training!

Nope. Fault for this is all around. I know it Is easy to pin the blame on Jose cos there r so many who are not fans. But sounds like you are giving all the players a pass. It was jose fault Dele didn’t give a shit? Jose fault Davies tripped up over the ball and gave a goal away. Jose fault that maybe, just maybe Lo Celso wasn’t 100% coming back from injury. Jose fault that Stevie B also looked injured and befuddled. Jose fault that Bale is rusty AF. Jose fault that Vinícius is just starting his second game and had fuck all service??? Jose fault that their team had ZERO chances in the 1st half until Davies went full Serge?
Could he have handled the subs differently? Maybe. Can’t tell unless we know the real reasons and what might be going on with the health of certain players.
also, is it is fault somehow that most of the team turned up with a superior, arrogant, prissy attitude that they paid for. He warned them this would be a fight. But instead of being ready to Rumble they came ready to Grumble and Fumble.
This is a team sport. Everyone is responsible for the result. If you think somehow if we had a different ‘progressive’ manager than the old past fart head we currently have, and think they would have got a different tune from this broken banjo, then by all means, go with that theory.
Blame. Shame. Punish. Blah, blah, blah. Collective accountability, a willingness to learn, and a determination to sacrifice is a solution to a long lingering problem that isn’t the exclusive prop of one Jose Mourhno.

I think you already stated the issue - if we go out there and beat Brighton and perform in the league then i think there is a mentality issue. It is tough to go from playing in the CL to playing in the Europa league and that is about being mentally right to go out there and play. It doesnt help when Jose has made nine changes admittedly but you would also expect that the players out there will want to give more to win a place in the first team.

I think the team playing against Brighton will be markedly different from yesterdays team
