Am I reading between the lines too much or does that make it sound like an attacker is being signed very soon?
Full quote from the article for context:
He grinned before saying: "Both. It's hopefully what we can do but I wouldn't suggest tomorrow.
"Not a centre-forward but I think we need some help in the front half if we can get it. Obviously Wilson's still a fair way off, Richy's coming back but we've got to be really careful with him, we've got to try to keep him back. Again, it's got to be the right fit. Is that going to happen this window? I'm not sure but we know that all being well, in seven days, Richy's back and he'll definitely help Dom for sure."
Muani can play anywhere across the front line and is believed to be a player high on Tottenham's list of potential attacking additions, but they will face plenty of competition for his services despite falling out of favour at PSG. football.london reported this week that former Spurs managing director of football Fabio Paratici tried to sign the Frenchman for the north London club before his £74million move to Paris from Eintracht Frankfurt.
If we are in for Kolo Muani, I wish we would take a look at Gabriel Pec from MLS. He will move to a big league soon and he's an absolute powerhouse:

Me! We'll win the EuropaHow many expect to qualify for Champions League though?
We’re not trying to upgrade on Richarlison because of his lack of ability though are we.The more I see into this guy the more I think he will be player like Richarlison that we would want to upgrade on in the future. his touch and technique seem very erratic and players like Saliba and Dias will eat that up all day.
Is he better than Johnson, very much so but that is not that hard. How would you compare him to other PL wingers in the top 6 and even at Newcastle as that is the quality we need to be surpassing.

It would be a crazy world if we started buying Man Utd’s stars after I had to go through the pain of Carrick and Berbatov. I say we do it just for that reason.

Richarlison is back in full training !Am I reading between the lines too much or does that make it sound like an attacker is being signed very soon?
Blimey. Johnson’s passing and dribbling stats are shocking. The latter very much backed up by the eye test as well.
Not that I don't think this is going to be accurate... but why does this compare Johnson with Wingers/Att Mids, and Muani with Forwards? Not a like for like I don't think?
Aren't we? His constant injuries are a problem but they're not mutually exclusive. We’re not trying to upgrade on Richarlison because of his lack of ability though are we.
Highlights from his last game he played for PSG back in December where he came on as a sub.
I would not make any judgment on him based on a 2 min clip. But, like Werner, I do think building his confidence will be one of our biggest tasks as I have mentioned before.

Ornstein knows his stuff and is rarely wrong but it does feel like either a smokescreen or more of a longshot.Think we'll get someone else out of the blue that fits more our wages
Who plays for Barnet or Kettering.Ornstein knows his stuff and is rarely wrong but it does feel like either a smokescreen or more of a longshot.
if this lad is genuinely first choice then I bet we have a second choice almost just as close if not lined up ready and waiting to be done.
