Kane (11 goals) and Son (9 goals) have accounted for 48% of our Premier League goals this season.

Lucas Moura has four goals and Alli has seven. No one else has scored more than two.

With Son fit it was easy to make the case for us having enough threat to qualify for a UCL place. However, now that he and Kane are both injured I just can’t see how anyone can look at those numbers from any angle and conclude that we’ll score the goals required to win the number of matches we need to win.

The unknown is Parrot - we don’t know what to expect from him as there’s no data. If José threw him in he could flourish, and the fans would give him a lot of encouragement and time to settle in, but it sounds like that ia simply not going to happen. It’s what I would do.

I’m sure we’ll fudge a solution but it was already pretty damn painful to watch us without a number 9. I fear this situation is going to be even worse, so we better strap in for a rough ride.

Although Sons injury will mean our attack needs to step up.....it also means our defence does as well. I don't think we can get away with another 3-2 type of win without our two goalscorers. We will need to grind out results and start picking up clean sheets in order to stand any chance of closing down the top 4 further.

Even if we had Son and Kane fit we shouldn’t be relying on having to score 3 or 4 to win a match...as you say we need the defence sort ASAP.

No, absolutely not but without Jose being able to bring in a couple defenders, I don't think his focus was on picking up clean sheets, although we have improved defensively, we are still leaking goals. I think we have only managed 3 since he took over.

With Kane and Son in the team, you always feel you can get a couple goals.

2 weeks before he gets out and trains with the ball. Another week on top to get up to match sharpness

I really don't want him back anywhere near the team. We've only lost once (against Liverpool) since he's been out injured. I really don't think its a coincidence.

In regards to injuries we cant afford any more. I wouldn't be surprised if Dele gets some hamstring issues though after being out for so long with them and now having to start every game. At least Mourinho is subbing him off before the end of games now.

I'm really sorry to be the one to break this news to you, but the Shelf hasn't existed since May 2017. You just sit on the side of the ground in the upper level.

You should tell that to people sitting there, don’t think this news of yours have reached any of us yet.
After all “WE´RE THE SHELF SIDE, WE´RE THE SHELF SIDE, WE´RE THE SHELF SIDE TOTTENHAM”…

Also, take a trip to White Hart Lane and listen for yourself, if this place doesn’t
exist for you anymore, you should be able to get the same respons, at that place
called Tottenham Hotspur Stadium ;)

The Shelf was unique to White Hart Lane because of the design of the stadium. 'We're the Shelf side' is simply a song carried over from there to the new stadium. If we still have the Shelf then so does every other stadium that has ever been built. We don't.

As I said, you simply sit in the upper level at the side of the stadium. Sorry.

Im still hopeful. Only need to pick up 4 on Chelsea with 44 left to play for. I think it will be a back against the wall mentality with the same frustrating tactics employed this week but if Jose can get the 6 or 7 at the back sorted we have a chance.

33 points left to play for I'm afraid

It beggars belief as to why we opted to 'stick with what we've got' in January despite Jose's insistence on bringing in a number 9.

Negligence. LEVY.

Won't number 5 probably be given Citys CL ticket? I think the race for top 5 will be tough enough this season. And I guess the FA-cup still is one of our two main priorities..?

assuming the appeal is heard and rejected before next season.
