IF Bournmouth beat Liverpool we could be above them before liverpool go to old Trafford...

Then the title is ON

We always finish above Liverpool remember.

Liverpool always get a bit shaky in the league after Xmas. Whereas we pick it up a gear.

Remember we have to go to Anfield. If we win there and win the rest of our games the gap is just two points.
Also have to go to City. If we win there we go above them.

We actually have a chance of winning the thing. Unlikely I know but we have a chance!!

It’s almost in our hands us playing Liverpool and city soon.

“Poor Liverpool they have injuries”, i say “fuck Liverpool they don’t know what injuries are”

It's a three way title race for sure, we're outsiders but we're in the race. Hope we can do our thing and keep the pressure on

We’re closer to first than fourth. Amazing considering our injuries. Poch really is magic!

Would Keegan love it if pool bottle it. Third in a two horse race!

Still don’t think we’ll win it, but the prospect of Liverpool fucking this up is very appetising.

I think it’ll scar them permanently if they fail to win the title this season after the lead they had over City.

So I guess Liverpool will be allowed to use a number of injuries in a single position (CM) as an excuse, despite the replacements fielded tonight having cost well over £100m in total.

Tonight's result has us fully in the title race now, in my opinion. Press probably won't see it that way though.

I think we are now in a race. I really hope that fans can put there dislike of Wembley aside and go and support the team for home games starting on Sunday. Will help the players believe too

With Liverpool going to Old Trafford our next two games have become huge. I don’t think we’re quite in it yet, win our next two league games along with Liverpool not beating Utd and we are 100% in the race.

I'm not looking too far in the future, but Leicester and Burnley are huge matches for us. We have to pick up points against these types of teams without Kane and Dele.

After that I really hope Kane is eyeing Chelsea as his return date. Two London derbies in 3 days are going to be massive. If we somehow come out of that run with full points, I think we begin to look like real contenders.

I still want to believe that we'll be in the stadium for the final run in, and it could really boost our levels

If we are honest we are still big outsiders of the 3, realisticly we've have to take at least 6 points from the games away to Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City, and not drop more than 3 points in the other 10 games.

That would give us 90 points and we'd still be dependant on both City and Liverpool slipping up. Big ask.

So, here's a couple of quickies in the media

This one is from the Express straight after tonight's 1-1 draw

Hot on the heels of both clubs, however, is Tottenham. Despite Harry Kane and Dele Alli being out until March, Spurs are still in the race for the crown.

Must be a slip of the pen so to speak

This one is from that serial **** who always has it in for us, Greame Souness

After beating Newcastle United 1-0, Tottenham Hotspur are very much part of the Premier League title race picture, according to Graeme Souness.

Which reverses his ****ness and makes him a very good pundit, (until he next says something we don't like)

Meanwhile, over on SpursCommunity, RAWK-like levels of idiocy abound with suggestions of corruption following the linesman's poor performance. But we'll still trawl the stupidity from there to here for us to laugh at because we're not like that at all are we.
