YepEven if Leicester make top 4, what is their coefficient? Wouldn't they pretty much be a lock for pot 4?
Yep, meaning in all likelihood they'd have two big, big teams in their group (one if they're luck, zero if they're super, super lucky, three if they're unlucky). Would certainly make it interesting!Even if Leicester make top 4, what is their coefficient? Wouldn't they pretty much be a lock for pot 4?
Leicester were F’ng lucky today. I really weren’t impressed. VAR in their favour again. Can’t last, surely?
The son offside and kane pen against Newcastle fucked us over this season. We be level on points with chelsea.
7+ points from our next 3 games and I’ll believe we can do it.
Leicester are becoming wildly overrated. Johnny fucking Evans mate. Everton arguably have equal full backs and similar level of quality throughout their side. All about confidence and the run of the ball at times. Rodgers is better than Silva too which helps.
I’d take two players from Leicester for the first team and Vardy simply because I rate him. Chilwell and Ndidi. Not interested in any of the others.
I think you're massively underrating Leciester's starting 11
The Leicester side that won the league had a few individuals that most of the top 10 wouldn't be interested in but a few stars and a well drilled team had them functioning. The current team doesn't have players at Kante's and Mahrez level but they have some very good players. What I like about them is they’re really well balanced. Rodgers has them drilled and they’re confident and getting the rub of the green. Fair play to them but I don’t see it lasting.
The centre halves are donkeys. The Turkish lad looks like a nightmare waiting to happen. Full backs are sound obviously, with Chilwell being quality. Ndidi is a player I really like. Tielemans isn’t for me. Maddison the next overhyped Englishman. Gray and Barnes are flakey as anything.
I have always liked Vardy and think we should have tried to buy him a couple of years ago. I quite like Perez he’s a tidy player but wouldn’t want him near our place.

Oh ye of little faith!I doubt we will spend much in the January window as the prices are always inflated which puts our chairman off but likely we will shift some players that look like they don't want to be there anymore. I'm sure there will be speculation, a few silly low bids and haggling which will amount to nothing more than a bunch of excuses how it is a tough window.
Without some strengthening I don't think we will have the legs to get top 5 as we tend to fizzle out towards the end of the season. We are playing well but there is always a period that a team suddenly finds form when a new manager starts but that won't last. I see us getting 5th at best unless we invest in the January window.
I don't see Liverpool not winning the league and City will likely come 2nd followed by Chelski and Leicester if they keep playing like they have been. Probably once Man Utd fire their manager and hire Poch, they may overtake us too following a major spending spree in Jan.
LiverpuddleLeicester are basically Liverpool lite.
I think it helped them a lot that everyone bought into their fairytale and wanted to see them win. I’ve argued w my non Spurs mates for years that we had such an uphill battle that year as imo teams/other fans went out there against them almost happy to give them pointsIn my opinion, the Leicester team that won the league weren't at all impressive in terms of football. They regularly got battered, but were brilliantly organised, extremely combative, very good at absorbing the pressure, and extremely quick and good on the counter. They often recorded ~35% possession but rarely conceded and consequently won a lot of matches that the stats would suggest they had no right to win.
Not really. Liverpool and City are too strong to drop a lot of points and we are 6 points off 4th place. Still lots of games to play but it will be tough and the boost from a new manager will only last a short while. I hope I am wrong but I see us in 4th at best this season. We threw away too many games that should have been a routine 3 points.Oh ye of little faith!
Its also why they will likely finish above us this season.Leicester also had roughly 1 game every 7 days . we had a game every 3or 4 days this I believe is what ultimately what the difference between us and them winning the league .

If I recall when we lost out to Chelsea the following year they also had no European football to contend with.
So basically.......get Brexit done and we can win the league.
