For me, as a few have alluded to, we have in the past got a big win then struggled against whoever is next and failed to kick on so focusing on the league I'm gonna try and not get ahead of myself until after the Chelsea game. If we beat Villa and avoid defeat against Chelsea or better then I reckon we will have enough quality to finish 4th. Leicester have got a few tough games coming up also, I think they'll get dragged into the battle.

Yep, I've got a 'can't put my finger on it as to why' feeling that Leicester are going to struggle now. Still think they will end up third, but might get dragged into a panicked last few games to seal it.

12 points ahead of us. Too far to catch unless they fall apart and we're on fire from here on in.

Leicester been struggling since Ndidi got injured think they’ll drop a few more points. The buffer they have could be what saves them To crawl over the line in the end.. Wednesday is key for us a big win to keep momentum and the excitement/buzz going into winter break. Then villa Leipzig Chelsea wolves. Our Season is pretty much defined in those 4 I reckon..

They still have to play Wolves Everton Spurs Arsenal all away and man city, United and Sheff United at home 12 points can disappear quickly in those fixtures

A good result against City, a decent performance against liverpool - since Jose came in, only Liverpool and City have taken more points

If we can get through the FA Cup game unscathed, he has ten days to further influence the squad's pattern of play.

Honestly, I cannot see what you guys can about Leicester. I think they can be beaten, but not enough times to be hauled back into the chasing pack.

I think it was mostly down to them being one of probably about 4 sides (Liverpool, Man City and Sheffield United) with a cohesive style of play as well as general success in doing so. Everyone else just looks awkward/unconvincing at times.

Agreed. They're a proper team and very hungry. Leicester will be going at this like the year they won the league. They'll drop points but they've been in this position before with us all (fans, pundits) writing them off, saying how they couldn't sustain their form. They've the mentality within the squad to carry them to third without a fright.

Hope of course they fluff their lines a bit but I just can't see them screwing it up badly enough and any of the chasing teams hit serious form for long enough to creep past them.

Really need to hope Liverpool either remain unbeaten or go out CL as Chelsea game is 2nd last. Although I think it may be last game at Anfield so presume will be when they get trophy. So whatever situation they will surely wanna put on a show.

I think key to a Top 4 position will be our own consistency. We can not allow to scrap 6-8 points together in 5 games. We need at least a little winning streak. All others look like they can always drop points here and then (actually as we look). Does not matter if they play Liverpool, Man City, Watford or Norwich. If we can get somewhat between 26-30 points in our last 13 games we should be in a very good position. Won't be easy though but doable if GLC and Tanguy stay healthy and show their quality.

Just checked our fixtures in the run up to the Chelsea game on Saturday 22nd February:

Aston Villa - Sunday 16th Feb
RB Leipzig - Wed 19th Feb

Meanwhile Chelsea only have one match during that week (Man Utd on Monday 17th) and they get an extra 2 days rest.

The game at the bridge is the one, if we can take something from there I think we will do it. The points total for 4th is going to be low so as long as we can keep chipping away I fancy us.

I know we rode our luck in that first half but I do feel we are starting to show signs of being a hard team to beat, we just need our attackers to start performing more consistently. Lo Celso and Ndombele will be huge, the class they have will give us chances just need someone to start tucking them away.

Reminds me of the game years ago against leicester. We didnt win and that was it
