Hate to be a downer but, funny season or no, I'm not sure you can drop 7 points at home to Everton, Newcastle and West Ham and still win the league...

On the other side of the coin, we had a perfect away record so far. Kind of balance the home results out nicely

We can. It's wide open right now. Anyone can (except Fulham!).

Any other season I would've agreed with you, but this one is genuinely still there for anyone to take.

We can win the league, we have the strength in both our first team and squad. Whether we will actually challenge will all depend on the run of games in Nov/Dec if we are in the mix after that a 'real' challenge is on.

Need to take every game as it comes for now though. Antwerp and Brighton still to come this week. Let's get another two wins and keep building confidence.

Think its important not to get ahead of ourselves just yet. Belief has to be there and the mentality seems different from our boys so far. Theres no way we would have won that game last night last season or the season before IMO.

One game at a time and just continue to build the momentum. Forget the result just gone and focus on the next one.

With Kane and Son we have two players who are capable of pulling us through a game like Bale used to. The difference being we have more players behind them now to allow them to do it.

I thought this after the first two home games 5 points is a third of the points Liverpool dropped in the whole of last season home and away. But despite that we are two points off first place and that isn't a recognised top 6 club. When you are in that position you are a title challenger. We have had some luck with other clubs results to allow us to be there now we need to grasp the opportunity and still be close after the 6 big games at the end of November. If we are close then then with our last 10 fixtures having 1 top 6 side I believe then we have to be one of the favourites.

It’ll be interesting to see if we can beat City and Liverpool away from home this season. I think those games will be an interesting marker for where we’re at in relation to a genuine title challenge.

I don't have hard data to back this up, but from memory I think that even in Mourinho's title winning seasons his sides tend to win their home games against their main competitors but draw the away games. I guess with no crowds then there's been far less of a difference between the two so who knows what will happen.

Comes down to who has the most points at the end of the season, that sounds really simplistic but that is literally what is required.

We have the squad to win it and our attack is mouthwatering.

But its PEH and Ndombele that sets us apart to any of our competitors.

Our engine room, to coin a phrase, is absolutely insane.

We win the league and those two will be a major reason as to why.

I want to see how Liverpool fair without VVD before getting carried away, a long way to go yet. I think we'll be up there among the top 4 but not convinced we'll be challenging for the title yet.

Clearly VVD makes a massive difference but for me their biggest and best signing they made was Allison. Clearly the best keeper in the league and would put him in the top three in the world. He is the difference maker.

I still think Liverpool will be the team to finish above especially with their firepower.

After watching this weekend's games I'm slightly concerned that Leicester City are going to be this year's Leicester City.
