On the other side of the coin, we had a perfect away record so far. Kind of balance the home results out nicelyHate to be a downer but, funny season or no, I'm not sure you can drop 7 points at home to Everton, Newcastle and West Ham and still win the league...
We can. It's wide open right now. Anyone can (except Fulham!).Hate to be a downer but, funny season or no, I'm not sure you can drop 7 points at home to Everton, Newcastle and West Ham and still win the league...

It’ll be interesting to see if we can beat City and Liverpool away from home this season. I think those games will be an interesting marker for where we’re at in relation to a genuine title challenge.

Nope, it was at the very end of last seasonDid you place this after the Everton loss?
Tell us you put on a decent amount and not just a pound, though.I placed my bet when the odds were 40/1 (just after the news that we were about to get Bale in).
Clearly VVD makes a massive difference but for me their biggest and best signing they made was Allison. Clearly the best keeper in the league and would put him in the top three in the world. He is the difference maker.I want to see how Liverpool fair without VVD before getting carried away, a long way to go yet. I think we'll be up there among the top 4 but not convinced we'll be challenging for the title yet.
Does that make us this years Tottenham. After watching this weekend's games I'm slightly concerned that Leicester City are going to be this year's Leicester City.
