It’ll be interesting to see if we can beat City and Liverpool away from home this season. I think those games will be an interesting marker for where we’re at in relation to a genuine title challenge.

We really should be two points clear on top.

That's why, regardless of the performance, the result was the most important thing against Burnley. We're genuinely right in this imo.

Well we have...

City (H)
Chelsea (A)
Arsenal (H)
Palace (A)
Liverpool (A)
Leicester (H)

...all in a row, starting 21st November and ending 19th December.

So we'll find out pretty sharpish where we are with regard to a title challenge.

Makes Brighton and West Brom games even more important. If we are within a few points of 1st after the games you've mentioned, we have a huge chance of doing the thing.

I'm looking forward to us going to Anfield for first time in years!

No crowd and no VVD at the heart of their defense.

I'm confident.

Best price 7/1 to win the league now

That is a crazy price in my view, way too short. But just shows how good the bookies think we are and how good the squad is. In 2 weeks time hopefully will be even shorter!

I see SSN had a poll this morning to see where we would finish.

1st, 2nd, top 4 or outside top 4.

48% voted us champions... :sneaky:

I really think now that if you look at both First XI and squad depth we should be top three, but I won't start thinking we can win it before that big November/December run of games is over and we're still right in it.

I dream of unleashing a finally fully fit Bale in the City game straight after the next international break, pummeling their defence into oblivion and carrying that high through the rest of that difficult run. We will be so hard to stop if we get going. The question is if.

Remember earlier all the BBC experts top 4 predictions? :)

And Aguero is out for a month for City. Another star aligning for us
