I'd add the fact that a lot of players there aren't listening to what Pep says anymore. I dare to think that some of them don't even trust him anymore.

Pep should have gone at the end of last season.

Think City need a new attacker, the front three get great numbers and are all great players. But I do wonder how much of it is down to the system Pep has them playing.

Whilst they are all good players I often wonder if Pep had Kane, Son, Mane, Sarah or Aubameyang instead what their numbers would be (I would assume better than the current options).

They spend so much on defensive players constantly but haven't freshened up their attacking options in a few seasons. Foden and Torres may be great for them but the main front three have stayed the same and I think other teams attacks are getting better.

Pep's high intensity style will always have a shelf life, the high pressing extreme game plan is just too phyicislly and mentally demanding especially in the PL. It's the same for Klopp and Poch, players just get burnt out and stop concentrating. It's possibly the beginning of the end for Pep, they're starting to look like they've stopped responding to him a little. I did say that I won't be surprised if it will be his last season at City.

Having said that I think it's crazy to rule them out of challenging for the title, they have too much quality.

Watching us play this season we look to have goals in us every game, I would not be surprised if we hit another 3/4 tomorrow.

Really is such a shame we dropped the 4 points v Newcastle and West Ham, we should be right up there right now, taking advantage of other teams dropping points like this weekend.

Just got to hope that's the next few games the luck swings in our favour and our position in the table is where we should be going into the next international break.

Unless a miracle happens I can't see Manchester City fighting for the PL title.

Right now Arsenal, Chelsea and United are fighting for one spot at top 4.

Leicester, Leeds, Aston Villa and Everton will def drop down in term of performance after December. Whoever gets more consistency after Christmas will be able to reach top 5.

Unless we fuck up badly, we can reach top 3 comfortably.

Fight for the title ? Too early to say.

if we’d not threw both those wins away at the death, then we would be 3rd with a win tomorrow night taking us top of the league. Sigh.

Not saying we cannot win the league this season, but I think we are more likely to win a trophy and you know how successful we have been in that department recently

You're kind of conditioned to think we have to do well in the next three games because we've got City, Chelsea and Arse after that. But what's an good run of games this season compared to a tough run? City held by West Ham this weekend, Chelsea showing fuck all in a grim draw against United and Arsenal beaten at home by Leicester.

I can see us getting 6 or 7 points from the next three games and thinking we should have done better. Then getting 6 or 7 from City/Arse/Chelsea the way they're playing at the moment.

I honestly think if we take each game one at a time, playing with both concentration and composure (no silly fouls etc) we will beat anyone in the PL. And it can be done especially having a Manager with the mindset of Jose.

In our last 10 games of the season, we only play United out of the big 6. If we’re within touching distance come then, we would win the league if we went on a good run.

I know what you're saying.

But for me it's more about the consistency of stringing a number of wins together, than the opposition we're playing.

I said before that we need to start stringing 3, 4, 5 wins together, as we haven't done that regularly for a couple of seasons.

It may be that this season we don't need to do that to win the league, but why take the chance?

Anyway, I think the league is there for the taking this season and we have a squad to do it. It's up to Jose and the players now!
