Not sure what that means.
It means comparing us with the Newcastle club that was relegated doesn't work, the original post was if Newcastle can go down so can we but it doesn't work no more than saying Norwich can go down.
Yes any club could go down but not a club like us this season.

You know things are bad when a BBC Sports article headline calls us Dr Tottenham 😭😭😭
We’re the gift that keeps on giving.

You need thick skin and be able to laugh at yourself being a Spurs fan..

We’re there to be popped at from every fucking angle at the moment

Can't see us getting relegated.

We all agree Southampton are down.

I believe Leicester can't catch us. So that's 2 finishing below us. Here's Leicester's remaining games. Beating Leicester would put us 13 pts ahead of them. So they would need 14pts to finish above us if we lose all our remaining games. Isn't going to happen.

away to Everton
home to Arsenal
home to Brentford
away to West Ham
away to Chelsea
home to Utd
away to City
home to Newcastle
away to Brighton
home to Liverpool

Ipswich - 11 pts behind if we beat Leicester and they play Liverpool away - remaining games. No way they pick up 11pts here even if we lose every game.

away to Liverpool
home to Southampton
away to Villa
home to Spurs
away to Utd
away to Palace
home to Forest
away to Bournemouth
home to Wolves
away to Chelsea
home to Arsenal

Spurs remaining games - we'll be safe before the City game.

home to Leicester
away to Brentford
away to Villa
home to Utd
away to Ipswich
home to City
home to Bournemouth
away to Fulham
away to Chelsea

12 points will likely be enough but right now I just cannot see where our next win comes from. Anything but a win next weekend and we are in real trouble. Just before Christmas I laughed and dismissed the sheer notion of not getting another 13 points. Since then we’ve picked up 1 point at home again Wolves and have lost another few players to injury. Things are getting desperate
The only saving grace is that 2 of the 3 that came up are absolutely awful.

Wolves & Ipswich aren’t great so will likely finish below us but those 2 are capable of winning some games so if we keep losing we could be sucked right forwards them.

Sorry didn't go far enough. But I think we'll be safe before the City game because the gap will be even wider - we're picking up points and I can't see where Leicester and Ipswich do. (Villa away is cup game, we've got them later). We beat Leicester and Ipswich it's done and dusted. We've got Southampton and Wolves to play after that too, just can't see where both of them are going to pick up points get in front of us

Good analysis and agree although on this form, if we somehow lose to Leicester (I don’t think we will) then we could genuinely lose pretty much all of the next matches. We just got embarrassed by 16th placed Everton who before today couldn’t score a goal.

And I can see us finishing above Utd - Amorin has said they're the worst Utd team in their 137 year history. That will cheer the players up

You can get 300/1 odds for us to go down if anyone fancies it.
We are 66-1 now!

These odds are interesting as with West Ham and Everton now having Moyes and potter I’d put them at longer odds than us.

City is obvs lots of people having a joke bet.

We're in the traditional Everton situation, where we are so bad that we deserve to go down, but there are three other teams that are just so bad that we'll be safe no matter what.

If we lose to Leicester though ..

Away to Everton, new manager bounce, last game at Goodison and our injuries is a far harder task than playing at home to Leicester. Lose that and we deserve to go down.

Leicester have won one game since 25th October. Losing 11 games, drawing 2 and winning one. Compare that to Everton who have lost 5 in that time, drawn 6 and won 2. 3 of their draws were against Arsenal, Chelsea and City - one after the other, and they conceded just the one goal in those games. So they're clearly far better than Leicester.
