This started off as an ironic thread but now is worryingly sincere
If this is the scenario, it’ll be toxic. A very fine line for this team to be hero or villain.Kids/ressies vs Villa then a dejected final day loss after we've lost the EL final so yea no 40 points for us, 22 losses goodnight Irene.

Will the players even do a lap of appreciation at the end?If we lose the Europa and lose the final home game of the season (which is all very likely) I’m not sure the stadium roof will be able to contain the contempt.
It will be a sight.

You’re counting on supporters actually bothering to turn up though dude, surely the biggest two fingers to levy will be if the attendance is only 12k and 7k of them are Brighton and the rest are all there with their half and half scarves. If we lose the Europa and lose the final home game of the season (which is all very likely) I’m not sure the stadium roof will be able to contain the contempt.

I feel very lucky my non-league team is in a cup final at the same time as the Brighton match. If we lose the Europa final I'm going there instead, I seriously do not fancy a day of unmitigated misery and anger at Spurs without even a glimmer of hope. But hopefully instead we're all watching the lads parade the trophy around the Lane!
I don't actually mind that sort of tongue in cheek stuff! It's the active vitriol, shouting insults at the players, mostly chanting against the board sort of atmosphere I struggle with. Not criticising anyone for it but it's not for me.I will be going either way. I love a good moan and an ironic cheer is always fun.
Maybe a few rounds of "we aren't very good" and "we're shit and we know we are".
