Only just saw this. RIP Alan Gilzean and thanks for all your years of first playing for and then in supporting the club.. He was one the main reasons I started supporting Spurs despite living in the West Ham catchment area. I saw my first Spurs match at West Ham. We lost but it featured Alan Gilzean who scored;

We didn't win but it was the play and partnership of Gilzean and Greaves that convinced me that this was my team. The next season I saw my first game at White Hart Lane when we spanked the spammers 5-1 (A skinny, svelte pacey winger calling himself Harry Redknapp was also playing).
