Watch Arteta spend the next two weeks putting pressure on whoever the referee is going to be for the NLD
Just watch them put out an official club statement soon about the quality of decision making by officials today, and demanding an explanation from PGMOL.

Hard battled draw with a man down for half of it?
After Rice went off they didn't seem to have a clue what to do other than defend in depth. They supposedly a team going for the PL title but they didn't play like it once they were down to ten men.

Didn’t watch but rather disappointing to see Brighton draw despite Arsenal being a man down. Was it a really impressive defensive display or just Brighton being poor or a bit of both?

True, but losing Rice, is like addition by subtraction... :sneaky:

Seriously though - if we can get a win (big if), and then Man City follow in GW5 - that would put a decent amount of pressure on Arteta and crew - before any of the mid-week games start.

Keown and co already pushing the "it's all the ref's fault" narrative like the completely unbiased professionals they are...

I remember when Bissouma picked up his second yellow for diving the other season, and there was no argument to be had other than he was stupid and had let the team down.

Same as Rice today. He thought he could get away with being cheeky but he got caught doing it - and he was already on a throughly deserved booking.

If anything, Partey should have had at least two yellow cards today too.

Pedro kicking the ball away isn't anything like the same. There's multiple balls around the touch line. Rice kicked the ball to prevent a free kick that was being taken

Yeah Is they drop points 3 games in a row that’s huge. Big if against us though. Last season when rice went off at half time we started to complete dominate that game so let’s hope we do that again and solanke is back

Brighton kept getting a nose bleed in the final third. Had opportunities but snatched at them all.

Arsenal could have done them on the counter a few times too though.

Bit of both really, Brighton didn't have any ideas but they never really play a packed defence like that.
