No surprise that the teams with the least key injuries are ascending to the top...

Imagine where Forest would be without both their first choice CBs. Kind of puts us into perspective (unless you're one of those Muppets that thinks all our injury luck is down to the managers tactics  )

We are now below West Ham. At some point Levy has got to face looking at the league table. Lose tomorrow and we will have lost 11 matches. Pathetic.

Yes, but being 13th in the table with a goal difference of 12 is a massive anomaly.

West ham who are a position above us have a GD of -14 by contrast. We have been on the wrong side of the result in virtually every close game we've played this season, losing by 1 goal each time, which is very unusual too.

Eventually things will revert to the mean surely. At least I hope they will...

I forgot just how bad the table was looking. West ham sacked their manager and they are above us

Murillo was some find by Forest. Absolute monster at the back for them
I saw him back in 2022 in the Sao Paulo u20 region championship.

It was clear from the first minute he touched the ball he had something about him.

6 months later he's getting minutes in the first team. Then dislodging the CB they had at the time and despite Corinthians changing coach 3 times, he was one of the only ever presents.

Few months later Forest sign him.

Loads of clubs slept on this and I have no idea why.

PSG signed Beraldo at the same time, who didn't stand out as much to me, so scouts of clubs were here.

Now of Tottenham would have hired me none of you would be complaining about us signing him cause I'd have told them we have to get him!

An absolute steal!

🤣

It’s just because we’ve racked up some high scoring wins. Those close games are a better barometer of where we are as a side as there’s more of them (this season and last). Not quite good enough in games just seems to be the regular occurrence. Hopefully we can raise ourselves above that to win tonight. We need a turning point.

Or it could be the high scoring games show what we can do. And the close games are due to the squad having so many injuries and running out of steam?

Can be looked at either way.

We have the players (mostly) we just need them all back fit and add one or two to the squad, along with utilizing the players we have (e.g Spence should have been used earlier).

So hard to judge where we truly are with almost a full back line out injured and CM that is constantly rotated due to injuries and suspensions also.
