Has he ever been at a club for a rebuild? Are City going to spend at the level they have over the last decade or so to do it to a level to get back to the top?

That was my point to him, he has always had a ready made team to win. I also said a season ago they needed to replace KDB as I feared all his injuries would effect him.

I could never understand people saying he is better than Kane. If he doesn’t score he's invisible.
Kane on the other hand will set up others and be instrumental in play.

He's definitely going to walk I feel. All well a good doing a rebuild but you do actually need results during that and they just seem absolutely lost.

No idea who'd they replace him with mind you

City are just so plodding and slow. Not just the player’s pace but also their trademark quick passing is non existent. They’re completely unrecognisable, Pep must be livid

Looking at their team, most of them aren’t exactly what I’d think of as “Pep players”. Grealish, Foden, Haaland, Kovacic, Savinho - it’s not exactly Xavi Iniesta Busquets.

I think they need some investment in January. Maybe it’s also tough to attract the right quality of player with the charges they’re facing.

Haaland is a pure goalscorer. No one thinks his all round game is as good as Kane's.

He has hit 13 in 17 in the league this season. He's the least of their problems.

Rogers, Delap and Palmer. I'm thinking Pep would love those 3 back right now, especially Rogers, his energy in midfield is exactly what they need right now

Any other club would probably sack their manager with this kind of form.

Ally made a point that there is zero urgency with City and he's right. They're just jogging about.

Villa been terrific though. Rogers, Tielemans and Duran in particular. Would love any of those three here.

It's a shame that goal didn't come earlier, was the only time this match felt like any bit of a contest.
