I don't actually mind a (small) amount of it - it's gamesmanship and part of the game now. I think Vic went down briefly in the City game, Hugo used to turn a straighforward catch into a dive to the floor as well.

What annoys me is when it's a major part of a teams arsenal (pun intended) where they are doing it not to relieve a bit of pressure but from pretty much the first minute.

The keeper taking an age, swapping who is taking the throw in, changing who's taking the corner kick, players feigning injury (you always know because the physio makes no effort to come on or waits forever to do so).

I do not pay a grand a year for a ticket, plus all the other expenses and hassles to watch that sort of nonsense for 90 minutes. The refs could sort this, but they point to their watch to say they've seen it but then blow up on time. They might book the keeper who's been at it all game, but usually only in the 85th minute plus.

This might have touched a nerve!
Vicario went down because he had broken his ankle…

I love a bit of pedantry as much as the next guy, but he went down and stayed down for a bit to waste time and break up play.

He then got up and played on.
Sorry but I disagree. He was clearly hurt at the time and required extensive treatment, he then battled through the game only to find he had fractured his ankle.

The point is we do not entertain these dark arts as other clubs do.

That's bullshit from Mateta. He knew full well it wasn't a pen and sat on his backside for 2 minutes watching his team defend and then jumped to his feet and ran back as soon as the ball was out of play.

That Lewis red is 100% getting overturned. I know VAR can't check reds from second yellows but you'd think they could glance at it and say "you're making a huge mistake" to the ref.

More dropped points for City and going behind twice. Thought midweek might have been them on the comeback trail. Didn't watch but I assume the defensive problems continue?

It’s a terrible rule. Has the same effect on the team as a straight red
Apparently 2nd yellows can only be appealed in the case of mistaken identity. What a weird little exception. If someone was sent off and they very obviously shouldn't have been, what's difference do the circumstances make?
