I know not far off the top I just hate it when we slip up to teams you think that the points in the bag e.g. Ipswich happens far too much as always though COYS! Turn this round 🤞

It has tripped Arsenal up in a few games though.

They had zero creativity and just played for set pieces but Bournemouth and Newcastle dealt with it well and they ended up failing to score.

Eventually a team will figure out the best method to defend it and Arsenal will have to adapt again.

That's football.

Start pushing them first.

I hope Russell Martin is still Saints coach on Dec 15th because that game against them will be insane for all sorts of reasons.

But seriously, he needs to be sacked.
If their management team have any sense they’ll keep him in post until Saturday looking at our track record, sh!t or bust for Martin surely

Catching up on the highlights now.

Bit surprised that the ref didn't give Liverpool a penalty near the end. A bit close, sure, but the arm was up. Fully expected it to be given.
And then he blew the final whistle as Newcastle were on the attack 2 v2 and approaching Liverpool's goal. Time was probably officially up but I'd expect them to play on until the end of the move - added time being at the ref's discretion, and all. It seemed an odd time to decide when to end the game. Almost like making up for not giving the penalty.

Second game in a row Southampton have gifted easy goals. Hope that continues against us.

Get the VHS out and tell everyone what to do, it ain’t exactly rocket science and that’s what is so annoying.

Yeah there's a couple of things I thought of. Requires immense concentration too.

The only issue with your method is you know Arteta is telling his players to dive.
Don’t know why teams don’t just man mark them instead of continuing zonal marking.
Alternatively the defenders could just stand in a wall preventing the Arsenal players entering the the 6 yard box😂. Players don’t have to move out of the way to let players past.

Stephens took a proper tug at Cucurella's hair there.

He's getting sent off for that. Daft as fuck.
Stupid I agree but a red card for pulling someone’s hair!!!! Come on what is this, Primary School? I’d be embarrassed if I was the referee.

The Goons and Chavs right in the thick of it feels like we're being cut adrift into mid-table with the other also rans.

Watching that lot down the road celebrate turns your stomach 🤮 anything but them their dark arts deserve to flounder 🙏 it does.
Arsenal get away with their corner dark arts.... and the Chavs get away with having two full starting 11s plus squad players of a high quality on 11 year contracts (transfer dark arts) ... one team for the league and one for the cup/midweek games. 🤷‍♂️🙄🙄

Set Piece FC are ridiculously good at set pieces. How the fuck can you defend these? It's crazy.
It’s all about the ball in which is consistently excellent. The ball is aimed for a specific spot so the task is to prevent their players getting there. The best way to do that is to man mark them in an attempt to block there run. Standing like statues in zonal marking just allows them to run past you from your blind side leaving you chasing shadows.

Play to your strengths. That's what they're best at and it gets them results more often than not.

But it wont win them the league ,so crack on.

Liverpool do what they do best, play great attacking football - a far better set of strengths overall which most likely will win them the league

If u can't beat them then join them on the 6 man back post and barge through everyone
The issue being that the defender going in too hard could cause a penalty, while the the worst case for the attacker is a freekick 100 yards from his goal...
