As city lose their 4th league game in a row, coming up at 7pm on SKy...

Together: 4 in a row.

Sky couldn't have timed that one better.

Liverpool are basically the consistent version of us.
That's selling them short imho. They can do what we do but they can also dynamically switch between 3 or 4 styles during a match. They always look fresh and "up for it" because they're obviously a better squad, they're better coached but they rest intelligently during matches so it's not 100% intensity, 100% of the time. It's not just consistency, they're just better in all aspects.

Didn’t have slot coming in and doing what he’s doing straight after Klopp, fair play.
Obviously because he inherited a great team. Klopp's unusual in the modern era in that he left at the top of his, or rather Liverpool's game rather than being fire for being crap like all managers!

I think that’s why im surprised, because I thought this Liverpool team had reached their peak under klopp and needed a refresh.

If they weren't on 2,6 points per game, which is on course for a 99 point season, you might have a semblence of a point. Their start has been phenomenal.

Yeah, it remains to be seen whether he can keep it going long term. Koeman's Southampton were better than Poch's Southampton for about 3/4 of a season. De Zerbi's Brighton were excellent at first and suddenly not so much. This Liverpool team still has a lot of Klopp in it (plus Salah being on fire).
