Will be interesting to watch Joao Pedro tonight. If there was one "realisitc" signing we could make, I think he's probably the best option. I really think he'd be great in Ange's system and can cover all across the front line. Atm I think he's probably the best Werner upgrade and Sonny long term replacement. I know he's been playing more centrally for Brighton, but for us, I think he's ideal for a wide role as he's got the pace Ange loves from wide positions and is a quality finisher.

Feels odd that before watching Brighton play you’ve picked out Joao Pedro as one to watch for the LW position rather than Mitoma

It's because of his pace. He's got such great running gait and we he opens his stride he'd terrifying on the break as Werner or Johnson are, but he's a much better technical player than those 2. I think he'd be a real upgrade for our front line and offers genuine versatility. We could let Werner and Richy go and he'd be enough to replace both. He reminds me of Raphina.

Though I do like Mitoma too.

If Dibling isn't top of our shopping list for this summer I'd be shocked. The kid is electric.

What is VAR playing at too...?

So fucking stupid. Archer was ok but Armstrong was offside because he flicked his foot out.

For me that is a poor decision... If Armstrong isn't deemed to be interfering play when he's in the middle of the passing line engaging a defender, how does him moving his leg towards the ball a second or two later when he's away from everyone then make him offside?

It's either clear cut straight away, or he's onside once the play develops. These refs are useless

What is the hold up with the automated offsides?

The way we do it here is painful.

I'm sure the prem just don't want to pay up, the greedy bastards.
