I generally like that Turkish guy more than all the other AFTV nonces but I couldn't believe he did that little monologue about still being proud even though they've won fuck all. It seemed totally out of character for him.
It's something I get in theory and when my Arsenal mates talk about it - teams like this Arsenal side and the Liverpool teams of a few years back really would've won the league in any other era if they weren't competing against, basically, cheats - but it's just really funny to hear the backtracking. "Moral victories" suddenly count for something apparently.

To put it in their speak: what a trophy that is.

Fucking love that this Arsenal team is just our Poch era side except with a load of wankers, supported by fans that have to pretend the same outcome that was bottling and failure when we did it is, actually, a sign of progression and success.
Apart from they’ve had a shed load more money spent on them and still come up short.

If Arsenal hadn’t lost 6 points to Villa they’d have been fine. Need to worry about themselves rather than point at others

Where to start?

Firstly, that just isn't how it works.

Palace won 5 nil cause Villa had totally finished their season.

Secondly, and more importantly, we didn't throw the game or lose purposely to City.

We lost because City are a better team than us.

And you!

Also, had Arsenal not got the breaks against us, this wouldn't even be a discussion cause that would have killed their chance
Or if they hadn't lost at home to Villa recently... they would be champions and we would probably be 4th... so s*** up Gooners. Look in the mirror if you dare... 😁

Difference is they’re backed by their board and will spend big money again in summer and be right up there

Palace fans must be gutted the season's finished. Give em' another few weeks and they'd be challenging for europe. What a finish they've had.
I suspect they'll lose a couple of key players in the summer, but if they kept them there'd be massive optimism for next season.

Happy to see Arsenal miss out, and as sad as it is, City winning the league is always the best outcome because I give zero fucks about them. I can admire them as a team but their success literally doesn’t register with me because it’s so artificial and it’s got to the level now where it’s so absurd. 4 titles on the bounce? Don’t care. I’m more disturbed by my complete indifference. The best bit is the moral outrage and injustice that this provokes from my Arsenal supporting friends.
