Let’s hope they spend a massive amount on Sancho but neglect their defence.

I bet some utd fans are hoping Maguire gets sent down after that...

.. and somehow manages to implicate Lindelof as well ;)

United reminded me of us last week, didn’t look ready for the season. They had a week extra than us too, so less disruption.
I think the Sancho chase must really be disrupting them.

Ole is desperate for reinforcements, he said as much at the end of last season.

They started the summer bidding for Sancho and making their intentions clear but since Dortmund rejected it things became really flat.

They've been linked to hundreds of players and targets have seemingly gone to other clubs.

Imagine if you were Pogba or any of the other more ambitious types. You'd be thiking "why aren't we signing anyone?"

They've also failed to address any of their weaknesses. If you listen to their fans they need a LB, CB, CF and Sancho. Yet they'd signed a CM when they're already fairly stacked there.

Their fans are getting very impatient.

I expect Woodward to panic now and offer 100m for Sancho, yet I don't think its where they should be splashing it.

They really could do with a CF who can allow them to play into congested defences. Martial, Rashford and Greenwood all need space to run into, none of them are focal points.

I think Sancho would be a waste of money for them. Not that I don’t think he’s a good player, I just think they are stacked in those positions. They need a defender and some depth players (VdB does that to an extent). And like you said a striker. But as usual they will bet the farm on the glamour signing.

And now we have an ex Gooner commentating on an Arsenal match.
Sort it.out Sky ffs.
I watched the United game with Arabic commentary and it was prolly the most enjoyable game I've watched in months. It really makes a difference when you're not seething/cringing at the commentators.

You missed out then because on the South American ESPN stream I was watching the commentator sang a song that sounded a bit like la bamba fitting in the name of the goal scorer and the team.

Its why I really enjoyed the Amazon Prime games. Turn the fkers off but to be fair Amazon had far better commentary, unbiased or one from each team, so I didnt hate it as much. Sky are awful. They'll find themselves getting left behind if they aren't careful.

Agree.

I think the first year for Ole was the easy part.

Declutter the squad, get the attacking players to play with motivation and enthusiasm. Yet now they need to kick on and add some substance to their style so that they can really challenge and win.

I'm not sure if he's capable of doing it

ARS-WHAM has been awful so far. Far cry from the drama and excitement in all the other games today.

Leicester robbed them blind getting £80m for Maguire.
