Sadly it's taken some of you up until now to see the blatant corruption in the league

That is utter bollocks from Keane and Souness. He hit the keeper before the ball had even reached them, of course it's a foul.

I don’t think we have enough of these types. We have plenty but it’s a big old ground we’ve got now. Lots of tourists floating about.
No where close to enough. Even in the periods where I cam remember the atmosphere being good, ie the Jol days and early Poch / the last season at WHL especially, we were so rarely actually intimidating for referees or opposition players. We've always been very (too) quick to turn on our own instead of the opposition.

Was never going to win the ball. Knew exactly what he was doing. They're so full of shit its embarrassing.
Yeah but they have to play up to the hard man, the PFM who doesn't stand for this stupid protection stuff.

Even when keepers were at least as well protected in Keane's days than they are now. Maybe things were different when Souness played but the man retired over 30 years ago.

Keane and Sounness need to be cut some slack. Jose isn’t there anymore to educate and guide them. They’ve been left to their own devices

Think you can talk about both Liverpool as a team itself and also how they’re reffed. They’re the best team in the league. Their shape, positioning, movement, quality of players, squad depth, confidence in player roles…I could go on! Klopp has done an outstanding job! Their scouting team also. Hats off to them!

At the same time, refs let them get away with stuff that other teams don’t. Ironically, it reminds me of Fergie’s old Utd teams.

I know Martial is left footed but I just dont get how footballers can sky a football so near to the goal. Like how?

Yeah I'm as annoyed with Liverpool as everyone else but there's no great conspiracy going on.

You have to factor in that Liverpool creates more chances than any other team which in turn bodes for more 50/50 VAR situations, penalty kicks etc.

They do get a lot of media coverage though. But so do United and other teams with a large fan base. It's just media logic, we get more coverage than say Wolves or Sheffield United.

The media attention is annoying, I mean after Tyler said 'ITS LIIIIIIIVE' Sky actually kept the cameras on rather than going to advert like they usually do and sat in silence because of youll never walk alone - like thats just cock sucking and brown nosing at its finest

But the refereering really isnt somethign to be annoyed up. Like you say they have a whole heap more of the ball, they way they play is fast paced, their footballers are fast and they create more chances so the law of averages and all that

They do that every game they cover there. It’s hideous. It’s a fucking showtune from a musical that, much in Liverpool tradition, they lifted, meant fuck all to them or football, and decided it was a football anthem?
It’s embarassing when you look at how it came about being used by them.

Their fans do it now with these chants. All lifted from South America or Europe. The Firmino one is a complete rip off, they’ve even begun to whistle during it like River Plate do. Nothing original at all

The only connection YNWA has to Liverpool is that a scouse fella sang it.
A hundred years ago, when i was a regular match goer, pretty much every club's fans sang it, scarves up and all that.
What the club did was market it. Pretty well. And build some gates.
