Is it? I can only find the 1080p version. Clarity is fine, but the motion is slightly weird. I’ve checked my TV settings and everything is exactly the same as usual.

It just worked like this for me. Clicked on the game and the HDR icon came up in the top right of the screen. The difference in colours from this to the Palace game is very very noticeable.

The Palace match (the one I'm watching in HD) looks like SD, I don't know if that's because my eyes have got used to UHD but it's like watching in 640p

The UHD stream lags badly on my tv. My internet should be fine but i'm guessing the image processor or whatever can't handle it. As you can't manually set your bitrate for a smoother experience you'd think it would auto-detect and lower it like other services but guess not. Can watch it on the computer etc fine, but shouldn't possibly miss out on a game because of it.

I can't watch it on phone / Chromecast as it keeps buffering. But works fine on laptop. Bit annoying.

The BBC and NHK(Japanese version of BBC) have jointly created the standard that pretty much all UHD broadcasts will use in the future...no surprise they've nailed it.

Sky Q have been promising HDR on their boxes, but nothing as yet.

I would still love there to be a dedicated BBC UHD channel in the future, rather than having to stream, but I think it’s simply still too niche and streaming is the modern way.

As others have said, it may be a case of the HDR stream only being available to the first x number of people. I only tuned into the game 15 mins after it started.

Impressed with the quality Prime is streaming in. Using the Prime app on TV and the Palace game is as good as BT Sport UHD. The City game is in HDR!
