I hate Liverpool so much. Don’t get me wrong they’re the best team in the world but every game they’re so fucking lucky, teams miss easy changes or make the wrong pass that could lead to a goal. Every game it’s ridiculous

And then they score a goal ffs I hate watching them

I swear that happens all the time with Liverpool. Somehow they've managed to be simultaneously one of the best teams I've ever seen and one of the luckiest teams I've ever seen. It's a frightening combination that may well see them go down as one of the top PL teams ever.

Few of the Portuguese lads were obviously sorted out by Mendes but it’s not like they haven’t spent wisely too. Raul Jimenez was £30m and Adama about £20m (when everyone thought they were mad for paying that much for him). There was no stopping other clubs for bidding for those players.

And Nuno deserves huge credit for moulding them into an excellent side. They’ve spent money, but he’s getting the maximum out of what he’s got.

I dont get this whole lucky business - dont get me wrong I fuckin despise Liverscum but if a player misses the goal the player misses the goal. Thats not luck. Thats just either shit or incompetent or good defending or keeper making good saves.

Conversely, Liverscum are relatively clinical but they also miss chances. Their team is better than every team, more clinical and better defensively. Simples.

I just dont buy this lucky business and we tend to use the term luck to describe it when a team wins but actually Wolves simply didnt score.

They’ve already won the league, so fuck it - let them beat everyone. Will be great that the goons unbeaten season will be forgotten about because this Liverpool team would shit all over that team IMO.

As hideous as them scumbags winning the title will be it would be nice to banish toe goon invincible chat for a while.

Got to say though, not so sure that goon team gets shat on by this Liverpool team. This is one of the weakest premier leagues in some years. I believe the premier league peaked in late 00’s/early 10’s and has steadily decreased.

Man for man that goon team is better as much as I hate to say it. Ferguson has better teams too and Jose’s first Chelsea side was better too imo

The character of this Liverpool side is immense too. They never relent, even when the tide looks to be turning against them. They find something.

And it's bloody awful. This season can't end soon enough.

I don't expect next season to be much different.

3 more wins, and Liverpool are champions apparently. That has to be a record.
What makes you say that? They aren't guaranteed winners until they play City on April 4th. If City win all of their remaining matches they can get to 93 points and coincidentally, Liverpool will be on 91 when they meet so they'd need to win all of the matches between now and then and then they'd just need a draw against City to be uncatchable.

If 'Pool get 9 more points. They are champions. Regardless of what City do. It would be mathematically impossible to get more points than them.

*edit* my bad. 9 WINS!

Liverpool have 67 points, City can get to 93.
Yeah, they said near the end of the game, 9 more points. I didn't think it was strange as it's believable when you first hear it such is Liverpool's season. I tried working it out, and you're right. Doesn't add up. Muppets... them, and me for not checking!

Hate to admit it, but Liverpool is cruising for the Premiership title this season. They're so freakishly good in defense and offense. To goals against since Gomez paired up with VVD. Immense. And despite being held at 1-1 they somehow grind out that win.
