Top 6 will still be the top 6. People getting excited over how open it is need to take a closer look at the teams involved, the fixtures they have, the defences on show and the fact it’s 6 games old.

We just need to make sure we’re not outside the top 4. Getting players and keeping players fit is our biggest problem. Even taking in to account our current issues I think we will still finish top 4 with or without Poch.

I’ll be amazed if we don’t finish top four. Maybe I’m as blasé as the players ?‍♂️

I look at he so called threats from the group below us and see little I’d take in our starting line up when everyone is fit. Maddison instead of Eriksen, I have always liked Richarlison but I’d be in a minority there and even then I wouldn’t take him.

Chilwell is the obvious one of course but then who? Nothing at West Ham, Bournemouth, Wolves. Zaha? Again, I like him but many here would take our options over him.

Plus all their defences have huge weaknesses. Get our act together and 3rd is ours. Thing is, we’ll be so far off the top 2 and ahead of 5th if we do sort it out that we could have a proper run at the domestic cups

After our shit of a result, the weekend could've been worse with both Utd and Chavs losing...they're our rivals this year.

We just have to put a run together. Have to admit the thought of finishing below the scum is making me feel a bit sick. I think I’d probably take it right now though if it meant finishing fourth.

yeah definitely...here's one for u:
Scum to win the league with us 2nd, or both of us outside the top 4?

We should have gone all out to sign Maddison before he went to Leicester. I don’t care if he’s a bit of a **** and I also don’t buy the argument we wouldn’t have been able to sign him as he wanted a be a guaranteed starter. He would have got plenty of game time and I’m sure if we were serious enough we could have signed him.

Would have been perfect to provide competition to Eriksen and could have stepped into his shoes and we wouldn’t have been in the situation where arguably our second most influential player has lost focus for the best part of a year and it having such a detrimental effect on the team.

I’m not sure I can answer that question. If I had a gun to my head though I think I’d prefer the latter if I’m honest.

You ever thought that maybe Maddison wanted to be a guaranteed starter and not a sub?

Is that an absolute fact or just heresay? And as I said, if we had gone all in for him before Leicester maybe got the jump on us I’m sure we could have convinced him he’d still have a big part to play for us. He seems the confident type that a bit of competition at a big club wouldn’t phase him.

That's hearsay from when he went from Coventry to Norwich.

No just a consideration, it wouldn't surprise me if that were the case either.

Well there you go then. If someone can show me a direct quote from Maddison or someone high up at Spurs that we did everything we could to sign him but he just wouldn’t come because Leicester promised him a guaranteed start then I’ll willingly hold my hands up.

Otherwise I still maintain we missed the boat big time on a key signing that would have been well within our financial means.

He’s a very good player but I’m not sure he’s the be all and end all for us. I believe there’s plenty of his level in the game, all attainable for us. In fact I think we could actually attract better.

I agree though, we should have been all over him and Brooks before they moved to the prem.

What a shit weekend.

United and Chelsea lost. Not all bad

I just want to see Liverpool pick up two or three injuries. Nothing major, just have Salah, Mane and Van Dijk miss 4/5 games or something. If they keep it up then fair play. Jammiest team in history
