I think I want Man U to miss out on CL out of the three teams. If they get it then it sounds like they will sign Sancho. He’s so good. If they do that it could have a serious impact on the top 4 for years. If they don’t I reckon they won’t spend the £80m needed because of the pandemic.

United will spend big this summer no matter what happens. If they want Sancho, and Dortmund are willing to sell, they’ll sign him champions league or not. They’ve got the financial muscle to just do what they want. Chelsea too. Leicester will start rivalling us for signings if they qualify on a regular basis while we don’t. I think it’s more important that they miss out, it’ll put a real downer on their season after being so secure in the top 4 for most of the season.

The way I see it is Chelsea are far too inconsistent and loose at the back to be much of a threat, can see them still being flakey next year. They’ve made a few decent signings already but mainly in attacking areas where they’re already strong. Only reason they’re top four is everybody else doing so badly. 63pts for 3rd place is unheard of at this stage of the season.

Big players won’t sign for Leicester even if they’re in CL next year.

Utd are the main ones I want to miss out. The longer they stay out of the CL the better for us as we don’t want them returning to a position of power

I’m hoping for Chelsea & Leicester wins Today along with us leapfrogging wolves into the top six (y)

Hopefully Watford stay up and Villa go down. Will make the signing of Grealish easier and cheaper.

We won't sign Grealish, another attacking player should be way down on our list of priorities IMO. We need defenders across the line and a central midfielder.

There’s no scenario where we end up signing Grealish. Too expensive for us now and other clubs have moved ahead of us in the queue.

Im not certain about that. They had to take out a similar loan to us to cover the loss of match day income after all. Although I suppose that was just good business sense and might let them operate normally. Still, the influx of the CL cash would make that easier.

They lose sponsorship money too for being out of the CL for 2 consecutive years. I think that is such a loss and if there in an opportunity for it to happen to another top 5 club then we should be fairly grateful.

Im not worried about Leicester beating us to signings. 90% of players would still chose us over them. Mourinho and London are a huge pull. If we are offering a player the same wage as them then they are more likely to plump for us I reckon.

Anyway, it’s just annoying we aren’t involved because of a few dropped points here and there. So near, yet so far.

The fee wouldn't be too sad in these times, the wages - irresonsible.

Ha, BT missed Newcastle's goal showing the replay of the foul.

The TV production company Sunset+Vine are heavily penalised by their BT contract for any missed goals like this. The folks at BT were clearly terrified of doing an ITV.
