Been so impressed with Soton from what I’ve seen of this game.

Mourinho out and Ralph in please Levy.

Yes, I am that fickle.

they recovered well from that fisting earlier in the season, but he'd probably have been gone if it were at another team

Of course they will, PEH for example.

He isn't that great though and as shown for the last few games, they don't necessarily need him and for 25m only a fool would buy him. They're only selling because he wants to leave though.

I take your point though

Ranked 13th and 27th in tackles and interceptions in the league a month ago, he's benefits Southampton's side massively and he would be a a smart buy for anyone who have deficiencies in midfield which is why we're after him.

Scholes saying United team.are tired. A few excuses coming in?

United are doing very well but ppl getting very carried away. I've seen Fernandes have plenty of average games for Sporting like tonight, he could continue to be great, he could regress as players figure him out.

I do think United's defence will causs them problems and to be winners you have to see out games lile that.

It's too early to say what this United team is. 11 games or so does not give you a true reflection.

Its far far too early for people to rave about Fernandes against LoCelso. Way to early.

It's not the right comparison.

We need an Eriksen replacement. Fernandez fits that bill. Lo Celso doesn't.

doesn't mean Lo Celso isn't also another player we desperately need. Of course he is.

Impressed with Walker-Peters tonight

Impressed that he must have something on Hassenhutl to not be subbed off (even though they don't have another fit right back)
He was dreadful, got absolutely skinned on numerous occasions, looked like he had won a raffle to be allowed to play in the game.

The commentators are all over the place in praising United nowadays. Paul Scholes using fatigue as an excuse for their draw against Soton is BS. United's defensive line is their weak point. Maguire too slow and Lindelof is just not that good being United's number 1 defender.

Soton can count them selves lucky for not having to spend the last hour with 10 men. Obvious red card on Romeu. Don't know how the VAR room missed that one

Little bit harsh, playing against probably the quickest attacking trio in the league. I think Martial, Rashford and Greenwood would skin most right backs on current form.
