There was contact but he could not have embellished that any more. Ridiculous to give that. And they always do. The rules are the probelm there.
Who cares if he embellished it? How many times have people been fouled, stayed on their feet and gotten a penalty? He was fouled and it was the correct decision.

Can someone explain to me how supposedly intelligent, professional coaches cannot grasp the fact that Vardy is faster than their centerbacks and if they push up to the halfway line giving him half the pitch to run into they will concede.
Fucking stupidity doesnt really do it justice.
Even Carragher just said 'everyone knows he's never gonna catch him.' Well not everyone apparently. Just everyone apart from 98% of top flight managers.
Edit. Apologies for rant but sick of seeing Vardy score the same fkin goal over and over and over again. Fkin retards. I knew this was gonna happen before ko as City will play a high line. How can Pep not know this?

That's how man City play, they push up and press high - high risk high reward, don't quote me but I'm pretty sure a world class coach like Pep knew of his threat, my guess is that he is gambling on his team's ability to outscore their opponents.

I also knew you'd reply lol.
I know how city play thats how I knew that would happen. They dont need to completely change how they play to deal with stopping Vardy from scoring that type of goal. Its easily avoidable.

Jesus is really sluggish with his reading of the game.

And this trying to pass your way out your goal area when boxed in and under pressure. Equally fkin stupid. Makes my eyes bleed.

Of course they grasp it, don't be daft.
Obviously they see playing the higher line and the positives that come with it outweigh the negatives.
Can't believe you seriously think that a fan on a forum can spot this, yet arguably the greatest coach of the modern era somehow can't.

It's risk/reward where you trust your players techincal ability in possession. If they pass around until they find an opening, the pitch completely opens up for you to charge forward.

The problem is that some coaches/players have too high opinions of their team, like Arsenal when they fucked up v Watford.

Leicester really struggling against Man City. Wonder what this will do for their confidence?
