Yup, if there was consistency between attack and defence it'd be something. The fact that a goal would be instantly disallowed if it touched an offensive arm, no matter how inconsequentially, whereas with a defender they're mumbling on about whether he made his silhouette bigger or how far away he was when it was struck or any number of other variables, is outrageous.

It's just such a binary choice if you're going one way but utterly vague if you're going the other. It's maddening.
