Solkjaer calling out Man City for their dirty play and fouls ahead of the game tonight. He’s 100% right.
I'm surprised they aren't called out on it more they definitely use that tactic to either win back possession quickly or stop the opponent early and reset. They rarely get yellows as the foul is in the opponent's half.

Every team does it.
We do it brilliantly.

Angelic Pep disagrees.

Guardiola was unimpressed. “I don’t like it. No. My team is not built to think and create for that, not at all,” he said and added he thought the United manager intended to put pressure on the referee, Andre Marriner. “That’s the reason why,” he claimed, though he said such a ploy will not work. “No, I don’t think so, because we don’t do that.”

Bless him.

That was Wenger's tactics 15/20 years ago, with Vieira the panto villain.

tonight will be fun, the whole of Manchester will either be as happy as larry, or as miserable as fuck.

tonight could be the 1st time in history a team is booed off by it's own supporters for actually winning a game:ROFLMAO:

city better not shit the bed tonight, they win this they'll win the title.

I’ve got a feeling they will and Man U will win.

Everyone is expecting them to roll Man Utd over with ease tonight. We all know football doesn’t always work like that.

One of those nights where I'll need to have the laptop on so I can watch both games...I suppose the Arsenal game affects us slightly more than the Utd one.
It'd be fucking great if Wolves turn them over.

Trouble is I still favour just one game and then there’s the delay :sneaky: for the Wolves game!
Frustrating or what ;).

But none of the excruciating torture of last night! That was a tough night!

So do I, in an ideal world I'd watch them back to back but I can't be arsed.
I used Sportsnet, Canadian broadcaster to watch the Liverpool and Woolwich games at the weekend, you can do pictures in picture on their web viewer which was wicked.
They're not showing tonights games though so that's out of the window unfortunately.

Very interesting that. The top 6 in pl are in top 7 of commiting fouls when they dont have the ball.
Sure thats just a coincidence and in no way reflects that the better teams break up play the second the opposition have the ball lol.
It always frustrated me that when we were a mid table team we'd happily let someone run the length of the pitch and score before committing a foul and bringing them down which was what was being done to us. If you wanna compete with the big boys you have to play by their rules. Plus its always nice to stick the opposition up in the air :)

High pressing teams or teams that normally commit men forward normally need to commit tactical fouls to stop the counter attack which is why it's not a surprise that the top teams rank highest.

Unpopular opinion:

I hope United wins today, I rather Liverpool win the league and United make the top 4 than Arsenal and Chelsea
