i made a point of looking at the results of teams across Europe that played midweek
you wold be amazed at the teams that normally would be nailed on to win bt only drew or lost was incredible
even Dortmund and Juventus did not win incidently bayer laverkusen were beaten 3.0 at home maybe a reflection of how much effort put in midweek European home games
I believe results after Europe are unpredictable

We only have ourselves to blame for that Im afraid, when you have 72% of the ball and most of the chances and cant see a team off it falls on our shoulders as a failure.

Nope, not having that.

Liverpool's finishing was no better than ours yesterday. The difference was that Foster had a Worldie against us. Their 2 goals were down to errors. Any errors against us, Foster bailed them out of. Against pewel he didn't.

And that is your right to disagree mate but dele alli was through one on one with foster it was a poor finish than a good save.
Think we have to stop making excuses for keepers had a worldie or that one of our players had a bad game because of the syrian crisis etc.
We are struggling for goals because we are not clinical enough and too predictable in the approach play, other teams have our number now.
On the liverpool thing they know how to find the net because they move and attack with speed, however their defence is mid table standard where as ours is a title winning one but our forward looks like its not imo.

The right back was open John Stones.

On the other end, I'm pleasantly surprised at Redmond's development, offering a lot more in open play.

A worldie? Im sorry but alli being predictable and trying to pass it into the goal at a good height and shaping his body to go into that specific corner is a poor finish.

Even the erikssen shot was a 20 yard shot low... it was a good attempt but a save that a keeper would normally make.

I wouldnt consider them worldies. We always harp on about keepers having worldies against us and yeah there is no denying they make good saves against us but in all honesty we arent clinical regardless,

Problem for Guardiola is that he doesn't have the players in the initial build up phases to play how he wants. Yes Stones made the mistake, but the likes of Kompany and Kolarov just whack the ball at players and aren't comfortable with it.

I've also never seen a Guardiola team be so impatient and just hit extremely low percentage hopeful balls forward to no one.

Then you have too many players who just don't see the game or move the ball quick enough.

This will be a big rebuilding job if he wants it exactly in his image.

Clattenberg, from 3 feet away, watches Gundogan nearly break Romeu's ankle by standing on it, does nothing.

Romeu commits a standard foul on Gungdogan a minute later, gets booked.

Pathetic.
