New rumours of Richy to Saudi.

Kulusevski playing all his minutes in cm so far.

Son no. 9.

Four wingers being Johnson, Werner, Solomon, Moore.

Those left wingers feel like the big weakness right now.

Son moving left and Rcihy/new 9 makes us significantly stronger, or looking for a top left winger.

The midfield options with Kulusevski playing there seem too many?

Maddison, Kulusevski, Sarr, Bissouma, Bentancur, Højbjerg, Skipp, Bergvall, Gray, Devine, Donley, Hall.

That's a lot of players... assume Højbjerg goes, but what else?

Just watching the highlights of the QPR game and while it was nice to see so many young players, and Bissouma, looking so energetic, can we take a moment to salute that keeper and how positive QPR's football was?

Fun game by the look of it

I thought the QPR keeper had a really good game. He made a couple of really good saves. They said in commentary he was signed this summer but based on today they’ve got themselves a good keeper.

QPR struggled last season under Ainsworth and were in relegation trouble when the new manager arrived but he turned it around and they looked good. Hopefully he can push them on and they’ll have a good season this year.

I haven't been able to watch either pre season game, but has Kulu been as good as he's looked in the highlights?

I also think Vic could do worh being a little like Forster in terms of physical capability, we saw a lot last year how he got bullied, the only keeper we have who can't be bullied like that is Forster, the others, and even the youngsters still light for me personally.
Maybe Forster could just carry Vic around, like that big lump who carried that disabled kid about in Game of Thrones.

Kulu looks so cumbersome and clunky at times adding little to build up play in Central midfield.

On the other hand he does some truly amazing and game defining bits of play.

This is a really good point. I do think we’ll see some of the younger ones loaned. Wouldn’t be shocked if Skipp left and we replaced him in the squad with Devine or Hall.

I think Skipp will go as a left back option with Davies. Dragusin should be back by now to make the tour so he will take a CB spot. One or both of those youngsters who deputised at LB I think will be left out.

I've been really impressed with Devine so far. Two really accomplished 45 minute stints. Turns 20 next month, no reason why he shouldn't be included with Bergvall and Gray. I honestly don't think I'd be looking to sign another CM. We've got some really great options there, and some of these kids will be revelations.

I think if we could get Devine a loan at a Champ club fighting for promotion that would be the perfect last step in his development and then next summer we could either include him in the squad or decide his future lies elsewhere.

How did Spence get on yesterday?
I thought he played well. Looked good attacking but was also putting in effort defensively as well which I didn’t think he needed to do much against Hearts. There was one stand out moment where QPR were on the break and Paul Smith had a head start on him but he was able to make up the ground and put in a tackle to put the ball out for a corner which I was impressed with. Definitely looks like he’s trying to put in the effort to hopefully prove he should stay or put himself in the shop window for a move.

Skipp is acutely right footed, lacking pace and prone to mistimed tackles. Never a left back option.

Well you need to break them up a bit to see it.

Maddison and Deki for the 10 (Deki can still.play RW too)

Sarr, Bentancur, Bergvall for the 8

Gray, Bissouma, Bentancur as the 6.

Hall will stay with the u19/21s surely.
Devine and Donley probably out on loan.

Skipp sold.

Ramsey and Eze can play the 8/10 role which is probably why we'd accept bids for Deki and Bentancur but that still gives us a lot of rotation and possible flexibility.

Gray can also play RB

The way Ange wants to play (non stop) I'd much rather we have options and have a player missing out as opposed to last season where we had hardly any as soon as we got 2 injuries.

I’m fairly sure Spence lost possession leading to that break which makes that play even more positive for me. Didn’t hang his head and give up a chance, got on his horse and fixed the error.
