Didnt see a thread for this (or if we dont even need one Mods delete if unnecessary).

Over from NZ to watch the British Open and the match against Hearts works magnificently, got my tickets and looking forward to a great week.

I am away on holiday when we play hearts, gutted as would have taken my 9 year old as it's only a 20 minute train ride.

I learned that Pedro Porro in glasses would probably win every democratic election in the known world

I like how the video suggests everyone was slogging their guts out to get through the fitness checks - all while Davies was watching the rugby.

Thats some impressive hamstring and core strength on Bergvall

Incredible core strength indeed - He could have just went on for few more inches - just that his was head was already touching the ground.

Any sign i
of Udogie at the start of training. I couldn’t see him
They showed him arriving but nothing of him in the gym. Maybe that means he didn’t do any of that stuff.

I know most people expect or want Solomon to be sold this summer but I was pleased to see him doing some of the workouts in the video.

They showed Donley and Moore getting assessed. Maybe I’m reading too much into it but the fact they were shown with the first team hopefully means they’re seen as part of the first team. Otherwise I would have thought the under 21’s and the academy players would have there own assessment and workout area.

Assuming standard 21-day holidays:

Vicario - due back 20 July

Romero - still playing, if they beat Ecuador - due back 4 August
VdV - still playing, If they beat Türkiye - 31 July, make the finals - due back 4 August
Dragusin - due back 23 July

Hojbjerg - probably sold, but due back 20 July
Bentancur - still playing, lose to Brazil back on 27 July, win and back 4 August
Lo Celso - probably sold - but see Romero

Asian tour leaves about 25 July - with the 1st game on 27 July. We could struggle a bit at CB in those games, but should have plenty of depth elsewhere - assuming players come back healthy.

Updating:
Romero, Bentancur, and Lo Celso now will be with their teams until 13 or 14 July (Copa has a 3rd place match) - they will all likely miss the Asia trip

VdV is obviously still playing - but even if he loses to England, he would be due back 31 July - and probably does not make the Asia trip and meets up with the squad when they return.
