Am I the only one that think Poyet is going to be a glorified translator if the rumors come to fruition?

I honestly think if both Ramos and Poyet come, it is Ramos' way to do everything his way, and have no language barrier because Poyet, lets face it LOVES to jabber.

I can't think Poyet will be heavily involved in tactics/coaching apart from barking Ramos' instructions.

And I think Poyet would be a good focal point for the bewildered team. But I hope to god we get at least 3 top class proven coaches and not just Poyet and a new goalkeeping coach helping out Ramos.

I met Gus back when he played for Chelsea at an airport. He was really funny and wouldn't stop talking to people in the queue.

I'd love Gatling Gus back at the Lane.

Yeah that guy is hilarious. I remember him being knocked out from a header. When he came to he was laughing and jabbering. jabber jabber jabber. By all accounts Ramos is serene so it will be good for spirit having Gus motivating everyone.

I met Gus a few years back on the golf range I was chipping balls onto the same green, he told me I was better than him. Also that he always loses as Zola was a better golfer.

He went to Uraguay and coached kids over there before teaming up with Wise with the team they managed before Leeds. He's eager to learn and very friendly. Was a superb player too. Very good for spurs even...just a shame we got him at the tail end of his career.

The fact he can speak spanish is an advantage, as im sure our next signings will be heading over from La Liga.

Aren't you guys getting a little ahead of yourself?

From BBC

The former Uruguay international, who played for Tottenham between 2001 and 2004, told BBC Sport:Everybody is calling me and sending me texts about it but I don't know anything. I haven't spoken to anyone.

"I don't know if something has gone on between the clubs. I don't have a clue."

A statement on Leeds' website added: "We have neither received an approach from Tottenham for Poyet nor a request from him to be released from his contract with Leeds.
"Any approach from Tottenham for our assistant manager would not be welcome."

well if they replace zokora, bae and bent then i will be happy.
i really cant wait for this guy to come. apparently his training sessions are fun and interesting where the players actually learn stuff (like defending)

Why do you want to replace Bent when he's not nearly had any sort of chance to prove himself yet? I suppose the same goes to BAE and to a lesser extent Zokora as well.

:bang:

Bent has hardly featured this season and already he's being binned, purely and simply on the fact that he's a record signing and has missed one or two chances.
