He has masterminded the complete destruction of Mourinho and Chel53a. He is slowly but surely transforming our beloved Spurs into a very formidable outfit and we are going through a very bright accumulation of very good results.

People are now starting to turn their heads and wonder just how far he can take us. Let's face it, he has done really well so far, we're in the last four of the Capital One Cup, in the last 32 of the Europa League and 5th in the League. That is a very decent return for a man who only took over at the helm five months ago.

The man deserves our praise and our due recognition. We need to start realising the achievements he reached in such a short period of time with us, I think we should also start showing him our appreciation during our games as well. I'm sure he is human and has feelings. He has earned it and nothing less than what he deserves.

Let's take 7 or 9 more points in the league while booking a trip to Wembley and then crown him. We should be able to get past a currently crocked Burnley side, by all accounts, as well.

I'm pleased with way things are going.

Poch is slightly fortunate I think though because most fans had got fed up with the manager merry go round and were ready to give the next one more time and patience.

Manager of the month for January? Let's maybe wait until the end of the month.

I hope not

Well. He mentions the Chelsea game. Which happened in January.

If he means December then we played 6 Premier League games. We lost to Chelsea, drew with Palace and Man U and beat Swansea, Leicester and Burnley. I'm as happy as anyone over the Chav result but let's not get carried away.

I was thinking more the award is a poison chalice

Manager of the month is often a curse, I'd rather we kept under the radar as much as possible, quietly progressing on all fronts without drawing all the media attention.

Thought I would post this stat I came across in here (as it's one of the few Poch threads that @thinktank didn't start ;))

When we hired Poch, one of the worries I had was his appalling record of never winning once his team has gone behind, so it pleases me to read this:

Tottenham Hotspur have recovered more points from losing positions than any other team in the Premier League (12) this season.

That is a wonderful stat to see, as that too was my primary concern. I'm sure he was drooling at the prospect of adding the king of late goals, Christian Eriksen, to his resume to help erase that little stat from Southampton :D

Yes, go for 3rd amigo, but don't take the Manager of the Month thing as it is a curse.

Results in the next few weeks will be crucial to determine how far MoPo has taken us. It will also define whether, under his helm, we are heading in the right direction.
It is absolutely crucial to continue with the positive run we're on now. The Lads have to realise, understand, believe in their own ability and that they are strong enough, with the resources required to be in and amongst the big boys.
I have lately noticed that now MoPo himself, is starting to change the way he speaks about the team. Whilst he is still insisting on hard work ethic, he is praising the players performances more often. His body language is showing that he also happy with the progress reached so far, without of course being overly confident. He is showing a very positive demeanour, which can only be a positive sign for us. Long may this run continue. COYS

Love that he pushes us for third and doesn't even mention Arsenal or Liverpool.
