well none of the newbies have really played much game time so maybe that has something to do with it

lets see how we go when they are all match fit

well it took poch almost a year to put moura into the team, and arguably he's still not in it. All we got was a few sub appearances in cup games and it was so obvious he had something to offer immediately. I now expect to be waiting for next season until our new signings are integrated into the first 11, if at all.

Hes not wrong. We’re shocking at the back. We have no midfield. Eriksen hasnt been good for 10 months. We’re still mental midgets. This is what happens when you dont sign someone for 18 fucking months and only sign 3 players(one of whom was already hurt) afterward. Blame falls squarely on Baldy’s shoulders.

But the important posters on here informed us it was the right decision and that we didn't need to buy stadium and all that, and yet the manager of our club is going against SC finest there is only one way this is going.

Wonder how many people were shouted down this summer for saying the same exact thing now cosigned by the manager (and results/play)? Were I a happy clapper and not a realist I guess I sure would have egg on my face right now. Luckily this board doesn't have too many of those.

The constant negativity is boring at this point, much of it contrived by the media, albeit feeding off fairly negative body language and sound bites from the manager and the odd player.

But the quotes here are reasonable enough:

“We will see at the end of the season,” he said. “At the moment I don’t believe this is the best squad. But I think if you only see the results it’s easy to say the better squad was last season’s squad because we got to the final of the Champions League. But we will see if we can repeat, or if we win some trophies maybe we can talk about this is being the best squad.”

Then he goes on about finding a balance between a consistent first 11 and needing a squad to compete across so many games.

Followed by praise of Winks for his improvement and possibility to be not only a good player, but a big player if he continues.

So not all bad

Poch turned down the players he was offered.

Don’t see why anyone would have a hissy fit over this click bait. Basically he says time and results will tell if this is a better squad. Seems fair when in the last few years we have achieved more than in decades. It’s down to the new players as well as the old to show they are better

Sometimes Poch deserves critique for not so transparent comments but this can't be interpreted as moaning. He's simply answering the question.
"Pochettino, asked whether this is the best squad he has had, said time would tell. " What is he supposed to say when he has not had a chance to use new signings due to injuries? Some overreaction here.

Basically it's got to a point now where our fans will happily take anything our manager out of context and spin it into a negative lol
